What's your favorite role-playing game? Mine is Vampire: The Masquerade, but I certainly love me some D&D.

My grandfather made a lot of his leather tools and so did my grandmother and I got the honor of them handed to me so I use my grandparents's tools for tracing and marking and punching in doing all kinds of interesting things they made him out of old screwdrivers well back in the day a screwdriver was actually made a steal I don't know what it's made of now but they really work well

Also a nice thing with Tokonole Clear, you can put it on first and burnish your edges, then dye the piece. The burnish edges will still take the colour.

Is it personal preference, or a rule in which order to finish leather and which to use? Love the pouch and your artwork.
@DarkHorseWorkshop2 жыл бұрын
Fairly much a rule..... but also depends on the leather. Lots don't need anything. Vegetan is where you need the steps.. though some people oil then dye, I dye / oil / resist / antique / finish, with the antique and finish only being necessary on carving.

@DarkHorseWorkshop11 ай бұрын
I use paint sprayers and often I'll cut the resolene 50/50 with water. The brand never matters. Just a paint sprayer on the smaller side.

Ooh.Love this. Particularly as I am working on some leather armour for a concept shoot that was going to be in a similar green. Curios why you punch such relatively large holes for your stitching though, rather than the tool used by saddlers. Historical authenticity or just preference?

I am very new and probably a bit green to leather work and it is purely a hobby in what little spare time I have. Do you have any links that you can send me. I am in the UK. Any help would be most appreciated. I am making this for my son, who is a D&D fan, I see you have the die in your bag. Thank you.
