For many months now I have ‘grazed’ the negative painting technique but TODAY I finally was awakened to the amazing properties of this way of shaping an object by painting something that isn’t part of the actual petal and getting a much better shape than if one had painted the actual petal first. You have moved my awareness of this technique by leaps and bounds by just doing it with no words. Congratulations with your teaching style. Best I’ve seen so far on my journey in watercolour. Thankyou.

Hi Andrew again I watch this with my daughter and I am awestruck I am without words OK but here’s a few I’m going to give this a try and every color that I love I do have that long liner in about that size I love what you did with the kitchen tissue as you put it either I love it to that’s not even the word in the human language that should be used with this I didn’t know you were English I watched it without the sound on the first time through I was just blown away and this time when I watched it with my daughter I turn the sound on so I love your accent that makes it that much more fun for me so I’m gonna do this yeah thank you so much for making this so beautiful and so fun and and them in real time so that we can stop it and go back and do it frame by frame if I have to thanks again Andrew!🤗🙌👍🏼😉☺️🌿🍁🌲🌱💐

My first try wasn't too bad, so I'm trying again. Might make it smaller this time to send as a card. My friends are very forgiving of my fledgling artistic attempts, considering most of them are trained artists, one of them being an art director/set designer for tv shows and movies lol 😉😊
