ABeCeDarian is a Reading Curriculum that uses various exercises to reinforce phonics, decoding, spelling, reading, and writing. Level A consists of 2 Workbooks and a Teacher's Manual and can be used with their set of 10 Reader Books or with other reader books.
It covers:
CVC (consonant, vowel, consonant) words
Whole Words (such as the, of, a, etc...)
Digraphs (such as sh, ll, ch, etc...)
Reading sentences
and includes a lot of helpful information for you as you teach phonics to your beginning reader..
There is no pre-requisite for this course.
If the student is already familiar with phonics sounds or is starting to know how to sound out CVC words the level A Short uses just 1 Workbook to teach the same material at a quicker pace.
