NDUMELISO (GREETINGS)
Ndaa: Hello (said by a man any time of day)
Aa: hello (said by a woman any time of day)
Ndi matsheloni: morning (said by the initiator)
Ndi matsheloni avhudi: Good morning (said by the person responding)
Ndi masiari : Afternoon (said by the initiator)
Ndi masiari avhudi: good afternoon (said by the person responding)
Ndi madekwana; evening (said by the initiator)
Ndi madekwana avhudi: good evening (said by the person responding)
Hu ita hani: How are you
Ndo vuwa/ Ndi hone: I am fine …….Ndi vhudzisa ngeo?= How are you?
No twa hani : How was your day
Ndo twa zwavhudi : fine
No vuwa hani: How are you (preferably to be used only in the morning)
Ndo vuwa zwavhudi: I’m fine
Goodbye: Salani zwavhudi / Kha vha sale zwavhudi
Goodnight : Vhusiku havhudi
Sleep well : Ni (or Vha) edele zwavhudi
Good luck: Mashudu mavhuya
Have a safe journey: Vha vhe na lwendo lwavhudi/ vha tshimbile zwavhudi

background sound is nt necessary on top of your vocals

The background music should play on the intro and/or outro of the video, it defeats the purpose of the lesson because one might not hear you clearly.
