I've watched several other videos, but I like your videos the best! You are fantastic at explaining and demonstrating. I can follow y'all and you don't take years to explain something but yet not go so fast as so many of those other videos do. And your videos basically cover one complete skill at a time and the videos are short and complete enough where I'm not trying to fast forward thru it. Thank you so much.

Thank you - excellent tutorial. I can do the basic moves, but I didn't know how to string them together or change direction smoothly, but it's so much clearer now. I'm really looking forward to the next lesson.

I love this video, thanks! I am sorry for the stupid question but I do not understand how you transition from overhand to underhand by merely facing a different direction. If you are doing the same hand movement (overhand or underhand) how do you transition? I am sorry but I am just having a hard time transitioning and I am trying to learn. Thank you

Hi! You lesons are so cool, I have some problems with the rope I have, its 1/2" thick marinne quality but the rope it tends to crop over and I don't get the transitions right.. Thanks!!
@RopeFlowPhilippines
@RopeFlowPhilippines Жыл бұрын
thank you so much! marine rope quality is a great rope to start with. just take it easy and focus on your body rotations (wrists, shoulders, spine, etc.) - the rope is only a tool to guide you :) thank you and goodluck!

Why does my rope get tangled? And how can i prevent it from happening? I am hoding the rope in an "ok" position and is slightly loose. :(,
@angealberto2688
@angealberto2688 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Noelle! This issue is quite common so don't feel bad about it 😊 if you're already holding your rope with a loose grip in the OK position, I normally find that the reason the rope tangles is either: 1. The hands are crossing over each other (you want them to either right on top of each other, or right beside each other) or 2. Your wrists aren't fully rotating (or one of them is while the other one isn't!). If this is the case, try doing some wrist rotation exercises and then going back to the drill. Try taking a video of yourself and watching back to see what is going on so that you can correct it. Hope this helps! - Coach Ange

Can i do this with jumprope? i dont have rope
@RopeFlowPhilippines
@RopeFlowPhilippines 2 жыл бұрын
Yes you can! Although it will be extra challenging because of the weight of most jump ropes. It helps to recruit the spine and the core more when you are using a weighted rope of about 400-600grams. The way flow ropes cut through the air also makes a difference in feel and can help learn the moves in a faster and more efficient way.

Okay why do I feel like I’m doing overhand when I turn both ways? What am I doing wrong?
@faisal33
@faisal33 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Heidi! Make sure to never change the rope's direction when you turn! Allow the body to change direction, but keep spinning the rope in one direction! Hope this helps!
