We studied abacus in primary school, but my teacher didnt give any detailed explanation about the concept. All i know is the upper part bead values 5, while the lower part each is 1. Now i am 19, and i think its not a bad idea to start picking this up more seriously. Thanks for the clear and engaging lessons, sir😊

Thanks sir today 04/5/2024 i watch three videos about abacus in your playlist. I had learnt that right hand is ones place number and left hand is tens place number.but how can we add or subtract with thumb and pointer finger.kindly share such a video in which it explained clearly

The concept which you have seen is finger gym in this activity we only teach how to sync the earth and heaven beads of abacus, so that first class students can easily relate with their fingers they can do numbers up to 99 this is very initial phase of abacus activity to make the students retain to the class and enjoy the Abacus.

We don’t learn this method in the US. Everything is by 10’s place. There are abacus’ that are sold with 100 beads and 10 unit beads on the unit line. Do you teach that way as well?
