Happy Labor Day here in the USA!
Though most of us don’t think too deeply about it, this is a day when we are supposed to remember the American workers who built this great country. Those men and women who sweat, scrimped, and saved to one day give their children and grandchildren more than what they had. These have been strange and difficult times for our country, but the American Dream is alive and well.
America is still the place where someone can start with nothing and (with hard work) become whoever they wish to be! So God bless the American worker 💪 and God bless America! 🇺🇸
This week's tutorial is one that has been floating around the internet for years and we have had a lot of requests for our take on it.
It’s called the “Five Strand Intricate Braid”, most versions that you will see consist of crossing sections of hair over and under a mini braid. We decided that instead of the usual mini braid we would try it with a rope twist. I really love the way it turned out! It’s a great example of changing one small thing and making it your own. As I always say, once you learn all the different techniques, the sky is the limit on what you can create. So give it a try and let us know what you think!
