Ganesh, you are a wonderful teacher. May Lord Ganesha bless your work. I am a highly educated Indian health professional yet, I am learning something from your teachings. English is not an easy language to learn and master for non-native speakers. However you make it easy to learn the quirks of this language. Your lessons have the ability and merit of 'tightening the lose ends' of English grammar. Thank you sir for your postings on youtube. I hope there is something for everyone to learn and improve their writing and speaking skills by learning from your lessons. Please keep the good work...Albert B

Mr.Ganesh, in example #6, can I say, "I may drive to Portland on Thursday afternoon" instead of " I may be driving to Portland on Thursday afternoon."

"He may sleep later". "He may be sleeping." "he may have slept" are these sentece right?. can we use these when we talk about less possibility in future indefinite, future continuous and future perfect?
@LearnEnglishLab7 жыл бұрын
Hi Hemant, they are all correct but they mean different things. (1) means he's not sleeping now but it's possible that he will sleep later; (2) means it's possible that he is sleeping now; (3) means that it's possible that went to sleep at some point the past :)

Sir, what's different between May and Might? Can we use May or might anywhere or there is any rule using them?
@pramodachilakamarthi5436 жыл бұрын
Hi Ganesh You may consider giving an example question with it's answer in the beginning of the test. I have understood your lesson very well, but since it was not mentioned that we need to modify the sentences, my answers looked something like this; 1. I think Annie might be angry with you. 2. Perhaps the children may be playing outside 3. Is it possible that Markus might come to the party on Friday? 4. I am guessing that there may be a dog in the house. And now I realize how funny my answers are! So what may be obvious and implied to you is not to me as a learner. But your lessons are interesting and easy to understand. Thank you :)
