In this video, you'll learn how to block no caller ID and unknown numbers from calling you on your iPhone. This little trick works great if you don't want to be bugged by unknown numbers or anyone that you don't have in your contact list. This method might not work great if you normally get a lot of unknown number calls though for work... HoldenRiot honestly no, after about 2-3 weeks I stopped getting them, If you have an iPhone their also an option to silence unknown callers

Bullshit! This doesn't block anyone or, especially, stop an anonymous and/or malicious caller from calling and leaving a voicemail. All it does is stop you from knowing that this happened until later and *then* you "get to" hear the unwanted crap and, possibly, filth which was recorded.

I really just want to respect there privacy by not answering i wish there was just an option to block or put ```no caller id``` numbers on silent ring. as you say being a work phone i cant just use the block unless they're a contact..

Here’s the issue. What if I want to block a caller, the caller realized he/she’s blocked, so they just start *67 calling so no caller ID shows up and they just blow up my phone, but I work at a job where I have to receive calls from contacts I don’t have.

Apple sucks. Android they allow you to just simply disable calls from no caller ids. I feel for people with iPhones.

@@benoh3417 true… I just came to this realization this morning… This downside actually makes me lean towards Android more than any of the other statistics they put out… I’ve had an iPhone forever and never knew android let you directly block all unknown/*67 numbers

SIMPLY go to settings -> Phone and scroll down and turn on block unknown caller id calls. Below this option you can see and add phone numbers to block by caller id.

There's a national do not call list by FTC, I've done it once, and it worked, also I card my Carrier as well, but I do love your video👍🏻

I have someone I know from childhood who calls me about 15 times a day and it comes up No Caller ID. I blocked him but still get 2-3 minute messages that clog my message box and pop up notifications that he called. Hate to use do not disturb but it’s come to that. If anyone knows how to block the hidden number in No Caller ID, please let me know how.

What I did recently is create a contact under the name *No Caller ID,* and *Unknown Caller* based on some other video showing this and I am banking on it working because it absolutely makes sense and allows you to block this contact once you’ve created it. Use 000-000-0000 as the phone number as the final touch. 😉

*UPDATE!!!!!!* This method does not work either! Now I am not sure I want it to because the recent "No Caller ID" call I received after setting this up was an important, business call and he left a vm - the only reason I called his number back that he gave in the vm!

Great technique and I have to agree with your conclusion. Today I didn't take a call from an unknown number. Ended up (after I checked voice mail) that it was my doctor's office (different number than I had listed) called to reschedule an upcoming appointment. If I'd had my unknown numbers blocked, they wouldn't have gotten ahold of me and I would have shown up to a canceled appointment. There's also times when my daughter's phone's battery will die, and she'll borrow somebody's phone to call us. Again, she wouldn't be able to get through or leave a voice mail.

I was chilling at my couch it was like 2:38 am and I was thinking about like scary movies and outta no where a no caller id called me and my dumbass answered and it was just breathing loud best believe I’m gonna sleep with my mom lol
