Sam and the Gang put on a great show at the Slough winter series and Carl managed to Popalong for a second outing with the Schumacher LD3
Junction16 was one of the most interesting tracks which was crazy technical and not really what Carl needed for his first outing... still fun was had and much was learnt. Now hoping for an easier ride at Slough Electric Model Car Club semcc.co.uk/
SEMCC did not disappoint and it attracked some of the biggest names in RC buggy racing and Carl managed to catch up with the Team Associated drivers AKA 'The Hall Brothers' / @hallbrothersrc3308

2nd In my final overall not out of everyone on the day I was well down the pecking order I was not in with the pro drivers that is for sure .

Spot on Carl.Stock machine , second outing with it.Looking good with the LD 3.......You always race better when Mark isn't around.lol.He thinks he's your lucky mascot ,but openly dislikes your love of Tamiya and rightly so..The Slough track looks a more intelligent than the last one it was a bit of an assault course,but some great imagination went into the design.✌️

Hi carl and mark i went racing at westsuffolk model car club last night great fun night out the tamiya dt02 for racing on my front green with and my mardave gt12 for monday nights we race minis and hotrods there aswell please join us one monday night start time 630pm booking in races start at 7pm

what esc do you guys run for 1/12 on 1s? I can't find anything for my supastox.

core Pace R is what I have in it at the moment but I will soon be moving up to Hobbywing 1s esc which it the esc of choice for most

@@PopalongRC Thanks!! I happen to have a Core Pace 45R in my M03 but I have not used it in many years and forgot it can do 1s. Might as well use that. I had brushed on my supastox but the Tekin FX decide to go for a smoke earlier today.

I've found the front bulkheads, suspension tower to be very poorly fitting. So much stress is put against the top bulkhead arms and in the area of two hole positions. Not only does the top bulkhead stress from the four non aligning holes to servo posts , splaying over 1mm, but the z axis, up and down , also adds a lot of further stress on the top bulkhead arms when fitting together. Splaying the part and then ducktile forces applied. Awful fitting. The c/f suspension tower is another rubbish fit. Warped parts, possibly but not on width of lower or upper bulkheads. Presently converting a cougar kc to modernise but finding these new laydown parts are proper shut tbh
