Thank you so much for the curing details, your directions especially the addition of the blow dryer, then iron on using silk setting on opposite side of the silk missing information missing from all the tutorial videos.

Before the dyed cloth is dried, shouldn't it be washed first?

Could you tell me if you wash off the carrageenan? As it can make the fabric stiff if left? Did you wash off before ironing?

We used the process mentioned in the first link. It uses carageenan to make the liquid solution.

You do not leave fabric for 15-20 MINUTES - it’s SECONDS. Beautiful design.

@@AlwaysBeCurious_ Are you using alum? I have never had to leave material on the water for more than a few seconds.

yes, alum and carrageenan (the links mentioned in the description) and this was the first time I did it. The instructor mentioned that if we keep it for seconds we might not get strong colors and thus, asked us to leave it for more time. I might be wrong as I dont have any expertise in that.

Hi, I am not an expert but happy to help based on the class I took. Did you go through the link in the description of the video? My understanding is the liquid you used was not the right one as that needs to be pre-treated and prepared in advance.
