Learning MPC One Song Mode!
Today we're finally taking a look at song mode! This is the feature I've been most looking forward to since I first started researching the MPC One. Having a hardware based way to create full length songs is amazing, and song mode takes that to the next level. Being able to craft individual sections as apart of a project, then bring those together into a single sequence is going to make working even smoother than I expected! Enjoy the video :)

in song mode just hit record or overdub then you can just hit the sequences in order of play. if you want 4 times just tap the sequence 4 times... try it. makes song mode super fast

I like watching you learn this because you have ideas for using the features that I hadn’t considered. Never thought about bouncing a song back to a sequence to do an audio track or other midi track over the whole thing. I can’t wait to see you get to the parameter automation features I think you will like them.

Thanks a lot for your videos and your enthusiasm, I enjoy a lot this MPC One serie. Just a quick tip in case you do not know, you could copy sequences instead of creating new ones each time, then you have all your tracks in the proper order with correct naming and kits loaded. You can then either erase the tracks or pressing record will anyway overwrite it. Hope that's clear ;-)

I realized that as I was editing the video haha. I wish there was a way to just copy the tracks without any of their midi data into a new sequence. Thanks for watching!

What did you do at 2:47 to make a side bar setting at the right pop out like that? And what was that? If you don't mind either, what number setting do you have your pad sensativity and threshold set to? It sounds like your getting a nice velocity response...SBN RESONATE

@_-Marcel-_

The knobs are even touch sensitive. You don't have to turn them, to fade in the side bar and see the controllable values, only touching one knob is enough. I was very impressed about that clever feature.
