In regards to the situation about shooting back when leaning at around 59:00, I think you actually have to call which space you are targeting, and not just that you are targeting the operator. So for example, if you call a shot on the mini, you would not be able to target it. But if you chose the leaning standee, you would be able to see it, but with heavy cover. In that way, you are able to shoot the leaning standee, but he is not able to shoot back, because he draws line of sight from the operator mini.

I just want to clarify a point of rule when mira makes double shoot with her ability then a "standard shoot". Her card say "Perform a Shoot Action thought the holed wall." and the rulebook say "Operators are not allowed to perform the same action twice." So in my pov, you can't shoot twice but you can make an other action available, like OW.
