Today I'm going to be learning a Ghanaian Language (Ewe) in the Volta Region of Ghana. This has become necessary as I will be in exploring the Volta Region in the next couple of days. So, here's my attempt to learning a Ghanaian Language (Ewe) in Volta Region Ghana from a Fante born who's lived in Kumasi almost all my life. I hope you enjoy this video.

Volta Region (or Volta) is one of Ghana's sixteen administrative regions, with Ho designated as its capital. It is located west of Republic of Togo and to the east of Lake Volta. Divided into 25 administrative districts, the region is multi-ethnic and multilingual, including groups such as the Ewe, the Guan, and the Akan peoples. (Source: Wikipedia)

Thank you for this!! I’m Togolese but I don’t speak Ewe I just understand it. I used to speak Ewe and French before we moved to the US & I learned English. That was 20 years ago I was last fluent 😩but it’s so hard to speak, my goal is to learn and be fluent

I was born in Togo and moved to the states 23 years ago. I speak Ewe but not very well and my mom doesn’t speak English fluently so we always struggle to communicate. How’s your journey into learning the language?
