I ordered a Onewheel Pint and it finally came back in stock. This is me trying it out for the first time and I love it. It feels like I'm surfing or snowboarding but on land! There are all kinds of reviews on KZfaq but this video is from the perspective of a total newbie, join me on my journey.

I feel like it wouldn't translate easily because your feet are bolted in on a snowboard so the falling aspect would be different.

i got my pint 5 days ago, i have 52 miles on it and i think im fairly confident with it. i love my pint but i do wish that it has custom shaping in the future. also i havnt had any problems with mine connecting to the app ive been able to connect with it fro down the street when other people are riding it.

The other day I fell off my Xoiami M365... so basically, I fell because I saw a kangaroo ahead, I attempted to slow down but unfortunately a fly got in my eye, I slammed the breaks and hit a numb or inperfection in the path... long story short, the worst fall I ever had (I was going at 25-26km/h and I’m 13) I have a fairly deep cut In my knee, an infected hand (that’s healed with betadene and turmeric a week later) and two tiny but deep cuts in my other hand... I have now learned my lesson to ALWAYS wear safety gear... lolzs

You should learn how to surf skate! It’s pretty fun! Buy a surf skate such as a carver.

It looked used? The bumpers look scuffed right out of the box?

(FYI: What looks like scuffing is just the fiber dust from the packaging, recycled hard paper materials for the corners of the box. It dry-wipes right off.)

I agree my new Pint looked like a refurbished unit when I got it. Hopefully thats just the build, but the top edges of the foot placement looked frayed and it was covered in debris that may have just been the packing material. Wheel was new and all the bumpers were fine.

I bought one and thought the same thing at 1st it wasn’t used the brown packing material they use made it look as if it was scuffed or used but it wipes right off so it’s actually not scuffed at all😉

bbjim1 I have had an Evolve Bamboo Gt with all terrain wheels and it’s one of the most fun things to ride ever! I’ve been looking at a one wheel next but the pint range just doesn’t seem like enough. Worth every penny though for the skateboard.

good video! What's your tire PSI set to? 400+km and I'm still riding around 16 psi for added stability. I tried the same port plug in PLA, but lost it on it's first ride, didn't stay in.

I thought that there was cuatom shaping on the app? Or is that only for the xr? Ive definitely seen custom elevation in the app in other videos.

@SuperTool420 Unfortunately, custom shaping is only available for the OneWheel XR but they are pushing the technology for a new Pint app.

It seems like it's the elusive 'board failure nose dive'. I'm 400 miles in and I've never had an unexplainable nose dive.

The only time I've ever "nose dived" on the pint is when my foot doesn't activate or deactivates the 2 foot sensors. and thats probably what happened to him. I've went 22 mph and never nose dived yet.

FYI, the sensors aren’t used once the board is going a certain speed.
