I searched how to snowboard videos and came across your page before I went snowboarding last week for the first time at heavenly mountain in Tahoe and I shit you not I fucking made the green mountains my bitch. I was even doing accidental spins😂 hopefully I’m able to control it next time but seriously your videos helped so very freakin much I applied all the fundamentals you spoke about in your videos and it made it so much easier to figure it out. The feeling after going down the mountain without falling successfully was unbelievable. I’m hooked now honestly and thinking about buying a season pass for next season

My school has a skiing program for everyone in the school if they choose. (Smaller school) One of my friends, it was his second time skiing, was not very good at skiing. Lessons were required because that was the “school” part of the day. (We left school for the ski program) After our lessons, me and him were free riding and I taught him so much more than his instructor taught him. At the end of the day, he could practically keep up with me. I’ve been skiing for about 10 years now. He was so happy about it, and he was having so much fun. I hope to teach him more next time we go up.

Went snowboarding for the first time last weekend and got down down heel side stops and toe side stops and was learning how to carve. Struggled when I would pick up too much speed and try and go heel side cuz that’s when I’d always fall on my ass. Will definitely be back at it again, had a lot of fun. These kinds of videos really help though.

Last season I trie turning toe side and caught my heel edge, slammed my head into the snow super hard and I’ve been scared of toe side turns ever since. I can go down the mountain super comfortable on my heels but I’m determined to conquer those toes

Ive only ever been snowboarding once a couple years ago. As I type this I’m YouTubing videos on how to toe turn as I’m in the ski lodge about to go to the mountain tomorrow morning, lol I feel like I’m cramming for a test. I got good enough snowboarding the one time I went that I wasn’t falling on my face and I could get down the mountain but I never really mastered the toe turn. I will have your sage advice in my head tomorrow morning lol

Fyi to the people snowboarding. Broke my collarbone a few days ago. Don’t get to greedy when you first start getting the hang of it. I started speeding up too fast and a single fall in 3 runs did this to me.

I've been snowboarding for 10+ years usually only once or twice a season, and I didn't figure this out until recently hah. I could turn, but toe turns were harder than they should be.

I have been snowboarding this season like 16 times this season already 11 more times than my last time. Finally I getting off from the lift chair almost with no falling at alll. Today I fell only twice but I still can’t do it on my toes.

I was teaching my gf who struggled a lot on heel side. She would go a bit toe then go on heel which does not work. I told her this, showed her a video of her doing it, but she could not correct it, so I'm like ok why don't u try doing a toe turn instead. She does it perfectly first try. she's one of those rare ones that has no issues with toe side but struggles with heel edge🤷‍♂️

It really is that easy. I snowboarded yesterday for the first time: got on a blue no problem doing s turns. Just learn how to learn and keep weight forward and look where you’re going. Understand where the edges are.

That’s a good tip your giving but shouldn’t you mention that you move your hips also

After spending my whole life skiing I decided to try snowboarding this year and had to teach myself because there were no available lessons, I only managed to figure it out because some guy in a line for the waffle house gave me a gamechanging tip

Not that simple please DO NOT portray that way you fall many times and work hard to learn turning and riding board. These cheap shorts now days simplify anything and everything unfortunately.
