It’s called “Arabizi” or “Franco Arabic”, we sometimes use numbers to write letters that doesn’t exist in English, it was very common to text using these numbers but not anymore. 2 means أ 3 means ع 5 means خ 6 means ط 7 means ح 8 means ق 9 means ص

Indeed. I too hope for a free Palestine. But a secular, democratic state not a dysfunctional state ruled by a corrupt Fatah or an Islamic dictatorship run by Hamas. It would be unbearably ironic for Palestinians to have their own independent state and for many to feel they don't belong in it or even want to be in it. In the Israel/Palestine dispute my sympathies are with the Arabs but I think a lot of supporters have a very unrealistic and frankly naive image of what kind of state Palestine would be. I think it is on the cards that there would be a corrupt dictatorship or even a civil war. Many Palestinians in exile are Palestinian Christians and/or have grown up in liberal democracies abroad. I wonder how many will want to return to help build a new independent Palestine if it's a hardline Islamic dictatorship run by Hamas?

@@barrysteven5964 I agree, of course, but who are we to blame? As westerns, we've been free for a loooong time and a lot of self-claimed democracies are fake like the US, for example. It doesn't matter who you vote there, they'll do the same shit. Even Obama bombarded some arab countries And when a country tries to become more democratic in Africa or South America, they (the US) cause a coup in that land So first let Palestine be free and let them develop Aid is always welcome but who's gonna help them, right?

@Ces91E
@Ces91E Жыл бұрын
@@jalexsilva8162 depends on what you consider easier. Its easier to read, but not easier to "translate back" into Arabic: "h" is a letter which would then be used for different sounds (now H and 7) and "kh" would be especially problematic (5 / kh / k7)
