@@mattiamele3015it is. I read old Hebrew tehilim and torah. Classical and modern Hebrew are different but of course they’ll be naturally, English now isn’t at all the same as English 500 years ago.

I started learning Hebrew a few months ago, and it surprised me a lot. It's way easier to learn than I thought it would be, and that makes it really rewarding. Especially now that I notice I understand most of what is said in this video. This motivates me to learn more, so that I'll be able to tackle 'Difficult Hebrew' one day ;)

Yes, the pronunciation makes it sound very different. But in fact there are many similar words. For example bait (house), ayn (eye), Matar (rain) and etc.

Arabic sounds like some one choking a cat, Hebrew sounds like someone choking a dog, while the dog pees in your ear.

@@delavida4002 Вы-молодец!😁👏 Я говорю по-английски свободно, (т.к. давно живу в Канаде) Изучаю французский уже несколько лет, и испанский, учу почти два года. Иврит знаю хорошо..(продв.ур) Дмитрий Петров- да, он выдающийся полиглот..! я его очень люблю, я смотрела его видео и интервью на ютубе.. Разносторонний универсальный человек.. Насчёт иврита. Чтение и письмо на иврите в начале были сложны, но не из -за букв, они-то легко учатся, а из-за полного отсутствия гласных на письме.Письмо на иврите справа налево..Есть диакритич. знаки чтобы помочь расшифровке, и начинающие их учат.. Но потом нужно читать и писать без них! В Израиле их почти не используют.. Просто развивается способность визуально ассоциировать корни слов с их значением..и их запоминать..😅 да, это возможно..😅Сам по себе язык не сложный, а наоборот, очень логичный, выразительный и очень красивый. Говорить на нём легко.. Но нужно несколько лет чтобы его освоить на "местном" уровне.. Bonne chance à vous dans votre apprentissage de la langue française..! D'où venez-vous?

Nicely done! I really enjoyed this, and people's comments resonated with my feelings about Tel Aviv. I live on Tchernichovsky St. across from Gan Meir. It is my favorite spot on earth, close to everything but feels like a moshav. I don't need to "do" stuff to love it-content to just "be." Should probably go more places but am pathologically addicted to my Gan Eden.

Just discovered Easy Hebrew after enjoying Easy German for weeks, and Easy Italian, Easy French, Easy Hungarian. I guess I'll have to do it alphabetically now : Easy Arabic, Easy Chinese, etc. - but life's too short to learn and master more than 4 or 5 of languages. Yalla, bye, hasta la vista, baby !

The interviewer is really French. That's why her KHhH is so pronounced.

​@@AbilliphWhat do you mean? It's literally the same sound. French R is voiced uvular fricative (like Hebrew r) or voiceless uvular fricative (like Hebrew kh) depending on position. It's exactly the same.

@@mattiamele3015 not exactly.. the French R is the middle point between the Hebrew and German R KH. The French one, is more gurgly than the Hebrew R. The uvular R can be trilled, gurgled, or soft.. it can have more or less voice in it.. it's not as simple as in the basic IPA chart, and the French R is easily noticeable in Israel.

@@easylanguages, please do not partner with this interviewer again. She is BREAKING THE LAW by not wearing a mask and standing less than 2 meters from everyone she interviewed. Because of people who behaved with impunity, the entire country has gone into a 3 week lockdown. 25% of the Israeli population is currently unemployed. Please find someone who can follow the rules and not endanger other people.

That's just the nature of modern hebrew. Up until about 100 years ago, nobody spoke it natively, and Israel is still largely an immigrant nation (I believe any jewish person in the world has an automatic right to israeli citizenship? Plus a lot of Russians have moved there since the fall of the soviet union), so a very large portion of the population is still made up of people who don't speak hebrew natively, which leads to a lot of interesting variation in accents and grammar. That's just part of speaking hebrew nowadays.

I'm unilingual English. HOW is this "Easy Hebrew"?! It doesn't tell us anything about the language or tell us what the words mean. All we have is a translation at the bottom of the screen .

How is it fair that people who live within 1 km of the water can go to the beach and people who live further away cannot during the seger? I've been following all the rules since March, and most of the people you interviewed didn't have a mask anywhere near them. Why are we collectively being punished for the poor behavior of the few?

The woman at @1:43 has red lipstick on. There's no way she removed a mask and had perfect red lipstick underneath for this interview. She wasn't wearing a mask at all before you approached her.

And at @2:59, you can see that the interviewer isn't wearing a mask at all. And you're shoving the mic in people's faces and are way closer than 2 meters. You're for ruining it for all of us. People like you are the reason there's a seger.

@@Jewish_Israeli_ZionistIt sounds more like German because the pronunciation is that of Yiddish speaking Ashkenazi Jews. Actually I don’t think any Arab would like to sound like this, so “in your dreams” is a total projection of yours (maybe also due to the fact that you’re Mizrahi, and people in your family/community have been discriminated against for speaking Arabic).
