She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics at the Seethalakshmi Ramaswami College, Tiruchirapalli in 1980, Master of Arts degree in economics and M. Phil. She completed all her education in 1982 Thn she works for many ngo's on women empowerment etc In 2006 she finally entered in politics. She is really a deserving and a capable politician.

Hi Everyone, It's purely my point of view. Every year, ~8 L aspirants are preparing for UPSC for 1K posts. Every year these high determined aspirations are not generating any income source/ not contributing to the national growth during 4 to 5 years their preparation time. Imagine, if half of the aspirations turned into entrepreneurs, there won't be any loss for UPSC board but Just rethink about India's growth. People can rethink what are they doing and is it worth wasting that much time. If yes, go ahead. Nowadays, Unnecessary people are giving so much hype to UPSC, where people are badly stuck up. Don't think about successful 0.001% people, think about balance aspirations.

For all those people who are saying that she is comparing upsc and entrepreneurship. I think she wants to tell us that we should not "ALL" give UPSC exams cuz UPSC exams demand for skills hardwork and dedication, lots of people quit in between and that's waste of time and energy. And I see nowadays it is a norm in society that they tell any smart kid to give UPSC exams. I think she is trying to say that "that person" did good by identifying what he wants to do by pointing out the fact that "he" chose to be an entrepreneur and not to give UPSC exams. I don't think she is saying that UPSC is any less than entrepreneurship.

Common upsc is skill, it’s a zero sum game played by upper middle class (opportunity cost) , bloody luck by chance game. The syllabus itself is useless , no corporate gonna pay you for history geography.

Maam pls adress this issue 🙏 If Cpc system generates a demand a human should review before notice goes out / sent to tax payer After initial demand is paid site was still showing pending demand n u get a tax notice n no human there to correct this this automated is causing nuisance..they should correct system generated error manually . This is unfair to harass taxpayer. They should correct this 🙏 Many tax payers r suffering with this automated tax demands Pls help

Not everyone can be an entrepreneur. Many students come from financially weak backgrounds, getting a decent education itself is an uphill task for them. UPSC CSE & other govt. exams is their only shot at social mobility. Enterprising youth is also needed in bureaucracy along with business world. Also, any minister cannot do a single thing without robust bureaucratic support.

Pls stop sending incometax demand notices with out rectifying the system errors due to automation .. some one should be there to answer questions related to demand notices in the IT offices . Please understand n provide help Middle class is suffering 30 to 37 pecent goes in taxes Hard working people are working their ass n losing almost half of their earnings paying income tax n so called poor don't work n stay drunk r enjoying benefits n schemes and Richest people do scams n runaway to other countries avoiding tax causing burden .. On top of this people who pay taxes are being harrased .. due to this automation system errors n they keep sending income tax demand notices again n again with out checking . . Please tell IT officers to chk manually before sending demand notices to the people. There's no Ao available to talk . No one to answer grievances.. this is no less than torture .. Where is the justice ?! Honestly so frustrated ..🙏
