Love your work 👍🏽Split solid brass key ring might look better. Slightly bigger perhaps

Qtip works great for edge coating. Gumtrag last, it will act as a resist. They look great.

@@hernandezknives I'm not an expert or anything. I'm learning. But don't get me wrong. These look sick man.

How much do you charge for a key chain like this? These are nice.
@hernandezknives Жыл бұрын
$20 sounds fair to me.

Very nice work! What kind of oil do you use prior to the antique gel?
@hernandezknives Жыл бұрын
No oil. Sometimes I’ll add a resist to lessen the effect of the gel.

On the ones that aren’t antiqued I used Neatsfoot oil then Super Sheen. 👍

I will. I haven’t made a leather keychain fob in a while but I’ll try to get to it. Been focusing on making knives lately.

How much do you sell them for??
@hernandezknives9 ай бұрын
A lot of work goes into each one. Unfortunately, no one has ever paid me the $20-25 that I’ve asked. They have made real nice gifts for my friends and family. 🤩

Suggest you stop using paper towels -even old cotton socks are better. Use mineral oil to spruce them up and rub the things, don't just piffle around daubing and dabbing with paper towels. They need softness. Nice job with the designs, tho.
