I think that the Wave looks esthetically more pleasing. It seems to have a cleaner and more minimalistic design

I’ve had both and the fact is the Wave suits my hand size so much better. I have smaller hands so gripping the Charge was harder and not as comfortable. The size difference is often overlooked in the reviews.

When the charge g10 orange was on sale it was the king! The blade steel and all the tools made that the deal of a lifetime!

I’m using the wave a lot for over 7years. Never let me down and stil functioning like brand new! But I can’t compare because Ive never used the other one.

I have that same charge and it hasn't left my hip in 4 years...absolute life saver and extremely well built

The person that sold me a Leatherman Surge at a flee market for $10.00 yesterday. That's who. It has a broken can opener which I will have replaced. I removed the rust from the blades yesterday and put in a little jar filled with WD40. I will let it soak for two days to desolve any dirt and sludge. Then I will soak it in White Lightning Oil for a couple of days too. 👍
