US metal legends Leatherwolf reunited with their classic line-up in the late-'90s, but singer Michael Oliveri left the band in 2003, having however managed to record a 3-track demo with them the same year.
Searching for singers, Leatherwolf teamed up with the great Jeff Martin (singer in Racer X and Surgical Steel, drummer in countless bands, ranging from Badlands to Michael Schenker and UFO) and cut a 3-song demo. Martin didn't want to commit full-time, though, and left soon after.
All three songs ended up in 2006's "World Asylum" album, with the singer there being ex-Crimson Glory screamer Wade Black. And you guessed right, Black left shortly after that, and the band re-released the album as "New World Asylum" with their original singer Michael Oliveri now singing.
