This #SaturdaySession with Conor will cover Photosynthesis. Photosynthesis is one of the most important topics, often appearing as a short question, experiment question and long question in the Leaving Cert exam.
Throughout the session, the main requirements of photosynthesis will be outlined, and a detailed explanation of photosynthesis as a two-stage process will be given.
The light-dependent stage will be explored, outlining how the products of Oxygen, ATP and NADPH are formed. The light-independent stage will then be detailed, illustrating how glucose is formed. Examination questions will be completed throughout so you can see how to achieve as many marks as possible in the final Leaving Cert exam.
