In this video we share with you some of our favourite places in our neighbourhood and we move out of our beloved hutong house. We have enjoyed so many amazing memories in this city and are sad to leave but we can't wait to see what the next chapter holds for us.

Omg! Moving is such a traumatic experience especially when you have grown fond of the place! Can feel your pain! Beijing hutongs are such a character I hope they will always remain and not demolished to make way for so called development. Hope you guys could soon find a reason to return to China for the long term. Will miss your China vlogs!

Wow, Jack's Chinese skill is impressive! I think he spoke more Chinese in this final episode than all the previous ones combined (I know I am exaggerating a little bit). But I certainly hope he can find opportunities in the future to keep it up and make good use of it. You both are such a nice couple with such warm heart, will continue to follow you wherever your next destinations are.

Another great piece of work, as always. The music is sick! I feel a mixture of sadness, uncertainty, and excitement. I wish we could be as brave as you to make such a move. Life is never easy, particularly during the pandemic in China. It is impressive how hard you managed to stay positive (or not, haha?). You are a great influencer here, and the sown seeds will blossom one day. I will be around until that day comes!

My partner and I lived in Shanghai for 3 years and we recently moved back to home to the U.S. in August. We felt very similar to how you guys felt leaving Beijing. You guys produce great videos and such interesting and innovative content. It is interesting to see you going through the process of leaving a country that you adopted as a home for a long time. We sometimes flirt with the idea of leaving Japan after two decades and wonder "where else in the world would we belong." Living abroad changes your world view and home is never quite the same again after. Safe adventures and best wishes to you both as you transition. Looking forward to your future content.

I’ve also been moving home few times, from city to city and from partnered to single. Lots of memories, loves and hates. When I revisited those cities I used to call home, I was also emotional.

After 10 years in China I made the decision myself to leave in 2014 and spent some time "mourning" the decisions- even while I still lived there for another year!! But it was a year of "lasts" for me, which made it so much sadder. My last teaching day was the saddest after 3 years at the school I was at & many friends made, I don't think I cried so much in my life! Leaving China is the 2nd hardest thing I've ever done (1st being the CELTA for teaching there in the 1st place lol)!

I'm sorry to hear that, thanks for sharing your experience! Yeah this year has been an emotional rollercoaster most of which was beyond our control. We are super sad to leave but I hope now with the policy changes we will be able to return to travel at some point this year.
