This is gold content. I've been in canada since 2019 and Behrouz has summed up my entire learning so far in this podcast to a 100% accuracy. Only question is, apart from investments and tax savings he didn't cover the crap healthcare system in Canada and public safety when compared to Dubai. Isn't he allowed to do the same investment from Dubai like owning a side business, or investment in stocks etc? Also travelling home from Dubai is easier and cheaper, less time and energy consuming. Can invest in indian real estate without burning a hole in the pocket and avail best health care. Fyi, if you buy any property, run business, or even have dividends for that matter in Canada and want to work somewhere else in the world to save taxes you'd still be subject to canadian taxes by law. So if Behrouz wishes to go back to Dubai to get the 0% tax relief he'd have to sell off all his investments, property etc. In Canada to make that move. To cover more content, here are the topics to discuss. -Healthcare canada vs dubai -children education canada vs dubai -ease of doing business canada vs dubai -average household income canada vs dubai -canada housing bubble vs dubai housing bubble. -public safety in canada vs dubai Awaiting more content from y'all. Cheers!

Well well well. Great podcast Wali and Behroz. Bravo. It requires a lot of courage to be on camera and in public and be so vulnerable by sharing public information which even people dont share in private. This will be so so beneficial for people who have positive mindset and they will be motivated aswell. There are so many people who need this because their circle is so pessimistic and this will give a chance to break the chain and see what is going on in real world. Please keep doing that.

Lot of good info for new immigrants but this is not the full picture. As behroz and wife both working and both are professional they can spare lot of money to put in the rrsp/resp etc. Also they landed in Canada just before house prices went up, was a good luck for them which does not happen all the time. House price was doubled in three years between 2018-2021/22

There are Pakistani’s who are in Senior positions in IT/ Tech companies and getting 300K to 600K dirham a month as well. I know someone who is taking that much. People need to broaden up their horizons and know that sky is the limit if you have the right skills and you are brilliant in your field.

I lived in US for 12 years before I started looking outside. Canada is a dying economy, there are no good jobs and taxes are sky high plus the guilt that comes with paying huge taxes that are going to fund wars killing innocent people in middle east is just hard to ignore. With age I have come to realize that I don't need to accumulate wealth for my kids or anyone, just providing them a good education to is enough. In addition, some savings and passive income as a safety net as well as retirement income is enough for most of us.

I love how he said that we need to have an abundance mindset at some point in time. Thats what I want to focus on . I have always had a scarcity mindset and I love how he said that one should spend on things one enjoys. As long as you can afford it. I recently bought a keyboard.. I rarely make these expenses but I did and it is the best invest that I have ever made. Sure it was a 170 dollars but it brings me so much happiness.. and I use it everyday. Again the point is that when you have that scarcity mindset you tend to lose out on oppoirtunities that come your way. Im gonna follow him also. I would love for you guys to maybe make one on spending too. There aernt many books on it and to be honest its not really a problem with most people. But I often ask this question. when should you start spending on things you enjoy? and how much is enough? How does one evaluate that limit? Gonna follow him now and will try getting in touch with him. :-)

It's all subjective. Depends on what background you come from. Do you think a laborer in India, or Pakistan has an option to consider present or future savings? Of course not. The feeling of Economic security has a cost. And the cost of sacrificing now for the betterment of your older self and for future generations is a cost well worth paying. I can show you plenty of people, like grains of sand on a beach, who worry not about their finances at any point in their life and spend their whole life worrying paycheck to paycheck. That is no way to live!

I am surprised and shocked to see someone holding the position of CFO in a giant multinational and act like 14 years old kid who can easily get tempted. My friend who made you CFO …. sorry about my words but I couldn’t control my emotions. Also, don’t tell the tricks to save tax. The tax saving tips you are telling is actually tax EVADING rather tax avoidance. You can’t include your personal expenses as your business tax expense. To my knowledge, out of $100k business expense, you could hardly deduct 4/5 k as expense as all your personal expenses are charged pro rata. Your cheap tax saving tips are an old school tips where most of Uber drivers apply in their tax returns, so please check before you say something like this.

It is a shame a CFO earning 75k a month even with a family cannot live happily in the UAE. It seems like you are stretching your legs too much. I know uncles earning 30k and they are satisfied and happy living in the UAE with their families for years and don't want to go anywhere. This vlog is irrelevant and bad advice for anyone wishing to live a good life in the UAE. You don't need to send your kids to schools asking for 10k monthly fees, living in expensive apartments and villas. Wali bhai, interview those earning average salaries such as 10-30k AED per month and ask them how they manage their expenses and families in the UAE.

Totally agreed. Interview people with who the majority can relate to. If you only keep interviewing high networth individuals all the time, people will not be interested anymore.
