Leaving SIARGAO, We've Got Some Bad News

4 жыл бұрынToday was an emotional day in so many ways. We got some news that threw all our plans into a frenzy. An opportunity popped up through a friend and it turns out that there is a secret commercial route back to London Heathrow and Phwah Phwah, J's mum has decided to take it.
So one of Phwah Phwah's friends has found passage off of Siargao island and will be travelling by sea, land and air back to Australia. On his way he has offered to escort J's mum to Manila airport where she can catch her own flight back to London. We only found out about this today in the morning and to make it a possibility we had to act quickly to get all of the papers in order for Phwah Phwah to join her friend on the long journey back to her home.
Let's support Phwah Phwah with well wishes and encouraging talk, because it will be an epic journey and not an easy one for a woman of her age. We did our research and it seems to be the only way for her to make her escape without having to wait until September when the airport in Siargao is planning to open again.
Things are about to change for us all. Let's try to stay positive and support each other during these difficult times . :-)

You guys got me. I was crying while watching especially when Jay became emotional about Phwah Phwah's leaving. This reminds me of my Mom back in the Philippines. It's been more than 2 years now that I haven't seen her because I work here in Qatar. I was supposed to go for vacation last month but due to the current situation, it was postponed. Don't worry guys, Phwah Phwah will be fine and I believe she misses her home too and your family back in London. It will be alright. I would love to commend you also for being such amazing parents. Story is growing a smart and lovable kid. Her social skill is unbelievable. She's so adorable.

Bon Voyage dear Irma. I will miss you but 100% understand and support your decision. You have 2 sons, their partners and your grandchildren to love and support you in the UK. The time is right to return to your home now. The journey will be epic but you will have company for the worst part of it and you are fit and levelheaded. You will be fine! Lynne Morris During times of uncertainties, you always want to be in the comfort of your home, not in an island you don’t know much about. Yes, Siargao can be paradise only if you’re on a short vacation, not on uncertain times where you don’t know when it will last.

I suggest you watch "The Travelling Catt" vlog about his trip from cagayan de oro to Siargao he was stranded somewhere in the middle for like a week before he reached siargao. If Pwah Pwah is travelling to Manila you must have contact person in every town stops as paper requirements are different for each town.

I think there's a private bus or van that will take her and her friend to Cdo. That's safer. I guess everything will be sorted out for them by the local government of siargao and the local government of cdo all the way through manila where they will take a nonstop flight to london.

IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE IF THEY HAVE THEIR OWN CAR SO THAT THEY CAN HAVE COMFORT on their way they will spend.for almost 2 to.3 days b4 they can reach Manila...Hope they will stay safe...

the problem with Tal is that he was crossing border to relocate, hence his travel was deemed not essential. For stranded individuals seeking flights to go home, the process will be way more forgiving provided they secure proper and complete travel authority and supporting documents.

I really enjoy your videos and it is the first one I will watch every morning while having my breakfast. I can understand your mixed feelings knowing Phwah Phwah will be leaving Phil since she has been with you all for the past 6 months and so used to seeing her each day and then suddenly she won't be around. I'm sure Phwah Phwah has enjoyed this journey with you all but it's time for her to go back to her normal life in London. I always believe it's the quality (being able to bond and share the adventure in Phil with your family) and not the quantity (spending long period of time) that matters. She will treasure these wonderful memories while she is back in London. I wish Phwah Phwah a safe journey home and more beautiful adventures for your family in Phil.

Iam in Manila. We are in GCQ now from Modified ECQ to jumpstart the economy. My advice as a lifelong Manila resident: pls. Make sure she travels by private transpo all the way to the airport. She is one smart, strong, alert lady. She will be alright.
