Жыл бұрынToday, we left the Mustang behind to drive my buddies rare 1 of 8 2020 Camaro ZL1 1LE! I never drove a ZL1 before so I was pretty excited to see how the car felt compared to my 2014 Mustang GT Blucifer and my 2020 Mustang GT Hades! It's safe to say, this thing is a beauty and RIPS HARD!!

I own a 19 Camaro SS and I'm bouncing back and forth almost everyday if I want to make the switch. Coyotes are boost monsters but lt1 all motor are fast AF.

Hey Derek I also had my black 10 speed ceramic coated and I got water spots just like that on my car and they won’t come out and looks permanent. The only way Ik how to get rid of them is too buff it out but then that would get rid of the coating. Any thoughts?

Definitely get a ZL1 I'm a Camaro guy I drive an 1994 Z28 as my daily love it. I do like all cars so I watch for the content and been watching for a long time now. Keep up the grind bubba and switch things up lol

I’m no expert on these 10 speed transmissions but from my understanding and what I’ve read it seems to be tuning. Another facet is that the 5.0 is reving much higher then shifting making it harder to engage as fast with a faster Turning motor meaning the clutch has to catch. Tuning I suspect is the reason it isn’t as smooth. Also I bet they have different tq converters also plays a mechanical difference.

Had a 2014 grabber blue gt loved it but now I got a 10 speed 2022 lt1 camaro it’s so much fun to drive and way better driving position than the mustang low to the ground and handles amazing.

Get a 2008 zo6 Vette and do a full NA build with heads and cam, intake, throttle body, headers and full exhaust with e85, put down 650rwhp on motor.

I'd honestly hold out on a c6 or c7 Z06 over the zl1. The zl1 is an amazing car but I think the with the Corvette you get more performance for the money

Heads up on the 17 zl1 some have bad oil pumps from factory, and they could go bad and cost a engine. So I would definitely get a 18 and up Z, heads and cam with kong ported blower 800whp easy

@@DerekBaranProductions look it up. I’ve worked on a few ZL1’s myself and talk to the owners about this issue. It’s a pain to swap the oil pump also. Motor has to either be supported while the sun frame is dropped or the motor has to come out. Would love to see you in a ZL1 but you gotta know what to expect. Love the content, keep pumpin em out for us!

The oil pumps are known for having issues on the LT4. That's what happened to Zander's. Mostly in the 17-18 range ZL1s. 2020 and up don't seem to have the issue last I checked on the forums. I almost picked up a 2018 ZL1 back in 2020, but it had an oil pump failure, so I didn't trust that there weren't metal shavings scattered all in the engine lol. Ended up picking up a 2020 GT A10 instead. Still considering switching to a 6th gen ZL1 or a C7 Z06 or keep the Mustang and add a Z to the garage haha

From owning both a 2022 gt 5.0 manual and a 2023 1ss also manual i would take the camaro every time waaaayyyy more stable at high speeds handles better the build quality to me seems also better on the camaros. Dont get me wrong i love ford but lately they need to step up 🤧

I’ve always been into mustangs but man you can’t beat the Camaro or in general Chevy engines good, simple and proven. Especially since already having a Corvette already, and getting a Camaro? You already got blucifer and having blue2v and hades. You should try testing some new grounds!

Stay true to Ford, brotha. You'd be paying way more for a car that's slower than Hades. Yes, the ZL1 is more of a track-oriented car like the GT350, but we all know everyone wants to go fast in a straight line @ the end of the day.

Not going to lie I have and love my Chevy Silverado. I would choose my truck over ford trucks any day but when it comes to muscle cars its mustang all the way. Don't do it man!
