Violence will get him suspended by the NBA. Rudeness to the reporter just got him suspended from being guests on future ESPN networks by ESPN. The brass at ESPN did not take his rudeness lightly.

His days have been numbered since he got in the league. That's the whole reason he's doing this. I think people forget or don't know he was a guy who had to fight his way into the league. I believe he started his career in the Ukraine. I played against him when he was in Greece, never thought he'd be a guy who'd have a decade plus long career in the league. I don't think he thought he'd stick this long. He's what 36? For his skill set he's had a h*ll of a run.

It is a bigger deal but the ball throwing is an open and shut case. Everyone already knows the league will come down hard on him for it and there is not much to say on it. There’s a lot of layers to his locker room antics ESPECIALLY coming right after the ball throwing incident. So you want to make sure it doesn’t get swept under the rug or overshadowed.

The thing you're all completely missing is that players are paid to go do these interviews, they're a known component of the deal with the broadcast networks. Either before or after each game the media does interviews & players know there's a couple of guys who have to do the interviews each night. Also somebody(coach or player) on each team usually does one at the end of the 1st & 3rd quarter or as they're heading into halftime. This is included by the league in the network packages they sign with the broadcasters & all the stars & "name" players know this is expected of them edit: spelling

Dan describing this as Pat saying that if you want to profit from his pain he has to profit too? That’s absurd. Patrick Beverley is paid in part to talk to the media after he wins or loses. And the reporter there is paid for her job and gets none of the profit that comes from any of this. Dan tries to make heroes out of the biggest assholes in the world.

This show always has to make stuff into some political "ally-ship" crap ... Interviewing competitive people after a loss is a shitty practice. It's cool to try to get some insight into how people are feeling, but you're playing with fire and sometimes you're going to get a ton of negative emotions cause the guys just lost and their season is over. Pat Bev being unable to handle his emotions and throwing things at fans is abhorrent and will most certainly get him suspended ... the fact that the media knew he was in this state of mind and flocked to him like ants to spilled kool-aid shows a lot about their goals with these kinds of interviews.
