DLo was in his slump yesterday and only had 7 shots. Not sure if that’s the team not giving him the ball when he sucks or him not demanding it enough
@aidanbogursky25813 ай бұрын
@@Ashhong1 Yea but the Nuggets can overcome Jamal going through a rough stretch and still be fine because they’re just that good. The lakers have so little room for error it’s just tough to keep sending Dlo out there when he’s killing you in his minutes. They did though need Dlo to play a lot in this series to have any chance imo bc he gives them that ceiling to have a chance vs the nuggets he just hasn’t played well.

When he's constantly said this season that's what he's looking for even at 39 years old that should let you know that he's not really concerned about the team, he's concerned about himself, if you really wanted the team to have a chance to get better he would take less money so that they could put more people and get more Talent around him but we all know he's not going to do that he expects a Max contract at 39 years old and inspects the Lakers to draft and waste a Draft pick on his son that couldn't even averaged Five Points in college

Yeah he could take a pay cut but then like always he’s gonna be needed to play 40 min games because the others are having trouble scoring. He was supposed to have his minutes reduced this year but they looked so incompetent with him off the court he had to play a ton of minutes and he played 5th most minutes in the league in year 21. If they had a much better coach that knew how to get the most of their role players he wouldnt have to work so hard. Till that day comes he doesn’t have to put the team on his back then yea he can take a paycut
@ericcarvelli97733 ай бұрын
@jusbertmeza4424 Didn't AD and LeBron fight to get Darvin Ham??? Yes, they did... and say what you want to about him he actually had them his first year as a head coach in the Western Conference Finals which no one thought was going to happen and if you look at his playoff record the only team he really hasn't beaten is the Nuggets... So are you really going to hold that against him??
@ericcarvelli97733 ай бұрын
@@jusbertmeza4424 the funny thing is the Lakers look just fine when LeBron James is off the court, when LeBron James missed games against the Milwaukee Bucks and the Boston Celtics both contenders in the Eastern conference, they won those games, and they won those games with their role players being able to have a hell of a lot more ball movement and your players like Anthony Davis and D'Angelo Russell thrived in those positions and D'Angelo Russell actually scored 44 points against the Boston Celtics, the problem comes when they have to incorporate LeBron back into the offense because their whole games have to adjust to make sure that he gets his stats... your argument would have actually held weight if the Lakers had a losing record this season when LeBron James didn't play but that's not the case
