@Phillip Upton I remember them showing the stat on tv when he was playing; I didn't know that they dropped at the end of season. Still impressive though to even be third even for awhile at that age.
@OjukwuIsaac3 жыл бұрын
@Phillip Upton I just said that you right he probably didn't finish the season being 3rd; but, he was 3rd leading scorer in the beginning or middle of the one of those seasons. I just going off of memory watching a wizards game live while the commentators was talking in the background and they pulled up the scoring leaders. Lebron James wasn't even in the NBA at the time; he came the year the next year Michael Jordan left. Actually I don't know how Lebron even came into this conversation. My point was very simple; that Michael Jordan at that age at one point was leading the 3rd leading scorer in the NBA for the while playing on the Wizards. I am going off of memory what I saw an heard. I do admit this was during the season so maybe it didn't end that way. I don't remember if it was the first or last season; I also don't remember how far into the season. I remember watching the game live and they brought that up on tv. Yeah Tracy McGrady was in the NBA at that time but at that moment Jordan still was ahead of him when it comes to the top scoring leaders of that season at that moment.

Statistically, pre-injury MJ as a Wizards, he was a top 3 player in the league, as a 39-40 year old. But anyone who watched him during these years know, as impressive as he was playing at his old age, he was no longer the same player. That’s why his time with the Wizards was underrated... because fans can’t accept the reality that we were witnessing MJ decline. He was still amazing, but he was a sub-par version of himself and it was obvious. Each time he played as a Wizards we all kept subconsciously thinking: prime MJ can do that blindfolded, but old MJ is actually struggling a bit 🤦🏽♂️

The story with the wizards goes a little deeper than what this guy gets into. They basically promised him in ownership stake if he would play a couple years. I don’t think he’s ever been a good GM because he looks at players that he could play with, not players that can play in today’s game. Whatever he saw in Kwame Brown were tools that he knew he would be able to win with as a player, not a GM.

Legaciitv, I thought I would never like a Lebron fan,I never have. But you are different. I loved your reaction to the MJ mixtape. Had me rolling!! But honesty, another Jordan there will never be. You saw it yourself. I'm going to keep watching ur videos. Great job bro!!!

Actually, Jordan wanted to trade Kwame on draft night for Elton Brand. Abe Polin rejected the trade.

Love these videos, young man. I love your outlook on things and it takes a real man to admit when he's wrong. No matter who I think the GOAT is, I will never tear down another player to build up another.

Lmao. You really gonna walk away from the fact that if he was doing it and teaming up just to win championships he would have joined other players. 😂😂😂😂 what he was going to say was he could’ve went to the Lakers and teamed up with Kobe and Shaq… the rest is history. You’re welcome.

MJ would never try to coast to easy rings. He could have went to any contender and grab a couple easy ones. He welcomed a challenge though. Unlike lebron who just added Westbrook to his team....lmao!!

Jordan didn't ask Collins if he thought he could still play for sentimental reasons. Jordan knew he could still play. He needed to know he had a coach who would keep him in the game, not sideline him during a cold snap. He wasn't looking for reassurance, he was informing Collins of his expectations in a highly respectful way.

Will leave this after watching the whole video for a LeBron fan to see greatness from the Jordan highlights and now this when he wasn't in his prime video to be saying humbly that he was wrong that's hard to see but great content man keep up the great work and stay humble. In my book it's alright to have the wrong opinion about things is when we do the wrong things that get everyone in trouble. Humble and Kind for the win all day everyday. Stay blessed man.

Bro he turned 39 years old and he was in the running for MVP that season until that injury. I don't think people realize what happened here lol. In 1993 he retired for 18 months then came back and won another three titles in a row. Retired again for three straight years, partying living life etc. Comes back as a 38-year-old and still puts up nearly 30 a game LOL. Obviously they never would win a title but if he didn't blow his knee out he definitely would have won MVP that year in 2001-2002. He was never the same after that but he still managed to average 20 a game for his stint with the wizards. No one in their right mind can leave a game for three straight years and come back in the even be a small percentage of what they were never mind what he did.
