Yep 2017 Lebron as well. It’s like he found the perfect playing weight where he could play bully ball and still be fluid with his movements. I think those two years are his physical prime. He wasn’t as explosive as late 2000s version of himself but he was still athletic af, very lean, and much more in control of his body. It was amazing to see.

This was lebron at his pinnacle of skill and still had great athleticism. The fact he brought this cavs team too a finals is insane. Only had one double digit scorer. Had 8 40+ point games with triple doubles along with 2 game winners. Had 51 in the finals and is only 1 of 6 players to do so but is the only one that lost while dropping 50+. That sums up lebrons career pretty much.

34 9 and 9 for the playoffs. Bro damn near averaged a 35 point triple double for a whole post season run and carried his team past two 50 wins teams in his conference and faced the greatest team ever. I don’t care if he didn’t win a ring this year, he overachieved on every level this year. I feel like winning is over valued sometimes because that’s heavily reliant on what roster you have. Individually this version of Lebron is right up there with anyone else’s peak.

Your opinion is dumb. Clearly the best LeBron is 2012-13, when he stopped taking threes as much and shot 57% from the floor. That 26.8 points he averaged sounds like nothing until you realize KD led the NBA at 27.7. But the difference will ALWAYS be that Heat LeBron was an all-NBA, lock down everybody, chasedown anybody defender, and this version of LeBon was when he really started to take plays off, so it can't be the best version--plus he didn't win the chip.

@@ninjachannel007 this version was taking defensive plays off because he was carrying the team. Something he hadn’t done since 2010. Second run Lebron controlled the game on a whole different level compared to Miami lebron. Miami Lebron was better in terms of defense but offensively,controlling the game, reading sets and react accordingly, ways to score, he was WAY better than he was in Miami. Even coaches like Steve Kerr said lebron was already top 5 by 2015 and from then on skill wise he improved tremendously. Just go watch how he plays offensively, Miami he was a tank and played in transition and in the post a lot. This version of Lebron was doing EVERYTHING offensively.

When LeBron was in Miami, he could afford to play tough defense on every possession because he played off ball a lot more and some of his Heat teammates like Wade and Chalmers would share the primary ball handling load. Plus, he was younger and probably in his physical prime and had more energy. When he got back to Cleveland in 2014, he was back to being the main ball handler and having to guide and carry the offense again and he was older now and couldn't expend all his energy on both ends of the floor.

2009 Bron was his best at athleticism 2012 - 2014 Bron was best at overall But 2016 - 2018 Bron was the most complete at any aspect of his craft in basketball

Wrong. 2012-14 LBJ was a better post player, deep shooter, and much better defender. He was already complete. 2016-18 just leaned more on skill and IQ.

He was much more selective with his jump shooting plus he played a lot more in transition and of course driving the ball is his go to offensively. This version of Lebron skill wise was way better offensively and the degree of shots he was taking was much harder, specifically his jump shooting and he still had good percentages. I agree he was better in the post and defensively but offensively he was on a different planet post 2016 in Cleveland.

Lebron James in 2107-2018 was like the complete player; didn’t miss a game, can score everywhere on the floor, playmaking was still elite, and figuratively carried his team to the finals. Still kind of tight he didn’t win MVP this year

11-12 was better idk why people are so stuck on the 2013 lebron but his whole campaign the year before was better. Averaged more points , playoff run had multiple all time lebron games and had a better finals as against OKC as well, idk where this consensus comes from with 2013 lebron he's had better years . 2013 was his best squad though.

I’ll never forget this season so many analyst didn’t think the cavs were going to be much that year different lineup like every game the wade and bron team up Isaiah Thomas was also on that team before the trade even tho they lost the finals they definitely overachieved everyone said the pacers would take the cavs out round one Victor Oladipo was amazing that season unfortunately his team went out in seven games then Toronto the team everyone said the cavs didn’t stand a chance against the raptors who at the time finished 1st in their conference cavs swept them then to Celtics who at the time were the only team to have a roster capable to take down golden-state Warriors with new edition of Kevin Durant I can’t lie myself I didn’t think the cavs were going to make it out that series, Boston was incredible that season it’s crazy to think Jason Tatum was only a rookie brown in year two at one point of the series Boston had the series lead on the cavs at 2-0 people were already bringing out the brooms for the sweep but then LeBron displayed IMO his best series of his career the man just refused to loose a amazing series and playoff run

Quick comment for LeBron fans. One important trait J has maintained throughout his career is being humble. J's alpha mentality his first 4-5 years were never about stats or status. The so called HOF cab drivers he played against admitted he was the real fu*king deal. Once again he hadn't won a ring yet. Ten years and six rings later his game and peers admitted the obvious. J knew where he stood but never felt the need to say it publicly unlike the scoring leader.
