A good tournament to make sure every players play every game. Maybe next time, go for a World Club Tournament, this will change the landscape of basketball entirely and for sure will generate much more income for the league. Of course NBA champions might sweep the floor with them for 1-5 years but eventually club from other countries will catch up and it will be interesting.

This tournament win means nothing it has no implications on the actual NBA Finals. The fact that they had to come up with this tournament just to get the players interested is a bad look for the NBA, pre all star and the ASG this crop of NBA players don’t show interest in the games ever since about 2014 this and load management has been a big problem for the NBA. So for the first time in league history it’s gotten so bad they had to come up with a bs in season tournament. If anything this is a bad look the fact they have to do all this to get players interested. This win has no effect on current players legacies vs past players legacies who never had a in season tournament because they already took all the games seriously. 2023 and going forward maybe the in season tournament should impact a players legacy only vs other players that were able to participate.
