MJ's balls hadn't even dropped by the age of 22... so to say... when comparing careers to LJ at that age... MJ is still my goat pick though but LJ is a very close 2nd and only because MJ had a better career in terms of winning rings and accolades. LJ is just as good when compared as an all around player.

zax the hooper not for this generation
@therevanchist99864 жыл бұрын
zax the hooper Nah he aint. He was temporary greatness in his own time as well then. Him playing it in that era doesnt mean he would be with 6 chips now. The NBA is more competitive these days. Those days are over when a same team would win 3-4 years in a row. You say LeBron is temporary greatness in his own time. Its same for Michael. LeBron didnt play in MJ’s era. MJ didn’t play in LeBron’s era. I can bet he wouldve won fewer rings these times when powers are more equaled out. Not to mention I like to see more person achievements and not chips, cause chip is greatness of a team. Stats are greatness of a player.
@therevanchist99864 жыл бұрын
zax the hooper Dude. Get that in your typical jordansexual thick skull. You cant win a chip if your teammates are not up to it no matter how good you are. These guys only won cause they had capable teammates as their back up. Take into consideration Cleveland Cavaliers loss in game 1 of 2018 NBA Finals. They had the game tied. Hill couldnt make 2nd free throw and once JR Smith caught the ball he couldnt do a simple thing as to pass the ball to LeBron, who was free, but instead ruined it with a dumbheaded play and passed the ball to a guy, defended in a corner, who had no way of making the shot. And then the cavs lost the game after LeBron put up 51 POINTS in the game, not to mention other aspects. How was that his problem? He played good in all his Finals that he had, its the teammates that needed to step up and just play the damn game like they have to. Oh and dont go into chips define greatness of a player, because you might as well proclaim Bill Russell as the goat instead of MJ if you go into that. Just saying. Might as well be on a winning team, but that doesnt make me greatest if aint that good. Stats are the thing that matters. The chip is a result of teamwork, team morale and chemistry, how they play together and stuff. Typical people, who barely play any basketball think one guy can get a championship. Thats very wrong thinking. Also if LeBron is such a loser he wouldve not pulled out 3-1 comback block save at game 7.

They didnt provide him help and messed up their trades, thats why he left as a FREE AGENT and joined his friend Wade in Heat, which is a team whos only top 10 before he joined and not a championship or playoff contender, while on the other hand, KD left OKC which is a championship contender team, joining his enemy who they blew a 3-1 lead in the playoffs the previous season! I am so sick of this fraud. This hype...listening to the announcers through the years talk about this guy...these announcers are on the NBA's payroll. They tried to make LeBron the NBA poster boy...they called him a King as a rookie...only the ignorant masses have bought in. Lebron James is good...Right now as it stands...he has the same career averages and championships as Larry Bird. The difference between him and Larry is that...Larry Bird was a killer....Lebron James has been on and off steroids his entire career. He has been the number 1 option his entire career and has had enjoyed the benefits of the NBA refs and advertising machine. Lebron James has 3 championships...all of them came on super teams...and one of them has a betting/gambling scandal attached. Lebron has only managed 3 rings on super teams...hes never won without TWO OTHER SUPER STARS. TWO. Lebron has been swept out of the finals TWICE being dominated at the highest level. Lebron lost an Olympic gold medal...until Kobe came to lead the team and they won. Lebron James bounced on his home town team and fans TWICE. Lebron promised to be in the dunk contest...and the dude never did it...a dunk contest for the fans because...the NBA isn't just basketball...its basketball entertainment. The fact that he didn't even compete in the dunk contest says a lot. If the hype on Lebron was real...he would have done things we couldn't imagine. Westbrook averaged a triple double...a guy who is half the size of Lebron...everyone talks about his size...everyone talks about his scoring rebounding and passing...none of that translates...none of that makes him the best. Lebron has been padding his stats his entire career. The only thing you can say is that...because of the steroids and modern day technology...he may play for another 10 years and own all the records. That doesn't mean anything. I don't feel Lebron has passed Larry Bird...let alone any all time Laker starting 5. Michael Jordan is the GOAT. Kobe is the best to ever do it. Then you got Kareem...Magic...Bill Russell...Shaq...Tim Duncan...Paul Pierce...John Stockton...Scottie Pippen...the list goes on and on...Stop with the bs. Its over. Lebron was a hype job.

Literally I takes a lot of luck to be a champion. LeBron has had some good luck on his side but the bad luck outweighs the good. Still he never changed who he was, still he faced the challenges with all his might & power. Yes he has lost 6 times in the finals. These aren’t excuses but the man was subjected to being great and DELIVERING a championship or bust as a 22 year old. At 22 MJ was finishing his last year in UNC. If anything goes to show you that winning championships takes a lot of luck along with hard work then it should be the golden state warriors. To some MJ may be the GOAT, LeBron will always & forever be my GOAT. A man winner is determined by the obstacles he faces, even if he loses all that matters is how you respond! How good was MJ? Most people will tell you, he’s as good as ever seeing a game 7 in the finals, or 6-0 in the NBA finals, or 5 MVPs & 10 scoring titles good. There are some key factors to take into account when looking at these 1 dimensional numbers like the difficulty of competition, or the amount of talent on your team, or injuries etc. Yes MJ has 10 scoring titles, but he also wasn’t going up against guards/forwards who can dribble, shoot from 30 & dunk it over a 7 footer like T Mac, Kobe, James Harden, KD, Russ, Steph, D Wade, Dame Lillard, Kawhi, PG13 & D Rose like LeBron had to face. It’s quite the contrary MJ was the ONLY guard who can dribble, shoot & dunk over you & lock you up as well. You see these type of player archetypes every 3 years it seems now. I don’t want to turn it into anMJ vs LeBron debate. To each it’s own but IMO it seems to me like MJ was at the right time in NBA history & with the perfect team in NBA history aligned his peak prime with the fall of the greats like Magic & Bird PERFECTLY enough. Without a doubt MJ proved he shows up in big moments, but let’s be honest so has LeBron but I also got to see LeBron retaliate after 2011, I’ve seen him TAKEOVER game 7s repeatedly. I’ve seen him fall & get back up. Just like MJ fans seen Ali fall & respond. Those type of things add character & subtle flaws to what everyone thinks is supposed to be a PERFECT canvas of a story. I hope & pray Bronny Jr is in route to following his dads footsteps & to see if he can 1 up his own fathers legacy on the court because off the court it may be impossible but on the court I’m excited to see if it’s possible. I hated LeBron when he left the Cavs not because I didn’t like him but because EVERYONE else hated him too. Now I’m writing 600 word comments under a LeBron KZfaq video. If you read all this god bless you & continue to strive for your own greatness. LeBron isn’t just a basketball player he’s my idol & I’m forever grateful for him.

Kareem -was better than mj for 1....you hit alot of facts on the head that mj fans like to overlook.mj played against alot of scrubs and smaller guards and forwards..he had most trouble with taller guards .penny and Reggie to name a couple ..now's days guards and forwards are bigger faster stronger and better

nmb Memphis beast24 agreed I think mj had it made on winning chips lebron on the other hand he had it the hard way he had to vs the dynasty of Tim Duncan vs bron there was no one on that 2007 finals roster for cavs and he vs Golden state it had the 2 greatest 3 point shots the game has ever seen and in 2015 kyrie and love got hurt your 2nd best player was delidova in my eyes lebron is my goat

As someone who consistently writes similar multi paragraph comments on KZfaq about bron, I love to see your angle of it. No hatred, or disrespect just your logical opinion. Everything you said is spot on and I have to double up and say to me what makes LeBron the goat and my idol as well is his ability to show his humanity. Mj was a robot, which is fine, but LeBron is a person. He feels real, like someone you could know, and he’s gone through trials and tribulations right in front of all our eyes. Although the Jordan fans forgot all his bad moments, Lebron’s have all been right smack in front of our eyes and the media will never let us forget them. But I respect the man to no end because I’ve never seen an athlete go up against so much and still be so successful time and time again. We can debate, throw out numbers, stories, and stat lines from finals games but the reality is that we all need to step back and appreciate. We all love sports. Jordan was great, LeBron is great, and there have been many many other greats that came before them. Let’s just appreciate all them, and all they do for us as basketball fans.

Kobe and Lebron played in the same era and Kobe had that superior will to win. Lebron may be more athletic but that's the only edge Lebron had over Kobe. As far as MJ is concerned the road still goes through Kobe first if Lebron wants that GOAT title.

Real basketball fans give credit to all but when MJ played it was a no holds bar type of game guy!!! the rules are not the same from the Era of MJ and Magic Johnson and Larry Bird and other Star players played!! Real Talk! you would get punch and choked and pushed while you was on a dunk intentionally to ruin your career!! and no one is gonna change that reality.. but at the end of the day Lebron is also one of the greats regardless! @@KingLucky1211 MJ should be 6-0 playing against Utah and Seattle in the finals. Which team did MJ face in the finals was better than the Warriors or the Spurs that LeBron faced ? When did MJ get of the 1st round of the playoffs without Pippen ? I'm not even talking about getting to the finals. LeBron has dragged his teams year after year to the finals when Kyrie, Love, Wade and Bosh were hurt. I hope that I helped you with a little free education...
@KingLucky12114 жыл бұрын
@@MrCrossdatracks Bruh, stop it. LBJ apologists like yourself do not know the talent Jordan faced in the finals because Jordan himself would not let any of those hall of fame players take the spotlight because that position was his. Do your homework bruh, half of the teams Jordan faced where better than Golden State, this is excluding KD but wait, The Warriors beat LBJ without KD. The Showtime Lakers, That Portland team that was stacked and yall so quick to say Jordan only beat the Pistons when they got old, naw bruh, Jordan losing to them got old, when MJ got his first chip, most of the Pistons including Isiah Thomas where in their prime. Lebron has cruised his way thru a weak ass conference for all those finals he appeared in playing with multiple all-stars at the same time. Now the biggest idiotic comment you LBJ dick riders bring up, when did Jordan face a team like the Warriors? Bruh these Warriors have only been around for how long? How long has LBJ been playing? Exactly! During the 90s nobody won anything unless you had on a Bulls Jersey or MJ was retired. One last comment, Jordan did struggle to make to his first chip because he had to go to war to make it happen and then what, 3 peat, gone for 2 years, comes back, 3 peat again. LBJ jumps ship and goes recruiting for his. Get you facts right lil man. 6-0 > 3-6!
