In hindsight, looking back on it, losing the Finals in 2011 was the best thing that could ever happen to him because it made him stronger, sharper, wiser and smarter. Even Bron said losing in 2011 was his proudest achievement.

I hate how no one gives the Mavs any credit 2011 sure the Heat shoulda swept them if they closed game 2 and if Bron played above average in game 4. But Mavs had a plan and they excelled greatly plus Dirk was out for revenge and they were able to beat great teams. A solid Portland squad first round. THEY SWEPT THE DEFENDING CHAMPS Kobe did not play that great that series. Made quick work of the Thunder and in the finals 4-2 the expected champs pointed out all their weaknesses.

People are just moronic: they’re so used to seeing superstars team up they forgot what makes a team win a championship: playing high level basketball usually through iq and the lebron led cavs had low iq basketball besides lebron. While lebron was so focused on doing everything for the team by himself Dwight played his role and almost swept lebron. The Orlando magic teammates stepped up because they played their role. And also Dwight Howard was literally thought to be better than lebron in the early 2010’s maybe people forgot.
