I love that Lecrae is speaking out about depression, anxiety and other mental health concerns. No help comes to those who suffer in silence-that’s the island of escapism from truth, and therefore tragedies and burdens increase throughout the family, community and spills over into society. Whatever is dismissed by a person is toxicity to those around them. Praise Lecrae for using his platform for good. If I understood his message about five accurately he’s spot on. There’s a five-string bonding that occurs in marriage; a man and woman are to interact with The Holy Trinity throughout their entire marriage, it’s not just on the day of ceremony. The apostle Paul; Second Timothy 2:15 I believe these Truths are important. What does Paul’s gospel that we are going to be judged by “NOT” teach us. To keep the sabbath. To be water baptized for salvation. The church of the B.O.C started in Acts chapter Two on the day of Pentecost still under law. To teach the Great Commission. These are just some of the truths contained in the word of truth. Now the question is does our faith accept these truths, or disregard the ones we don’t want to accept, due to traditions and etc? The word of God is “NOT” made up of multiple choices for us to pick which truths we like, and reject the ones we prefer not to accept, and teach. The only way to insure we capture the truths; Second Timothy 2:15, Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Each scripture we read we must analyze it to be able to answer as a minimum the five W’s below. This can only occur when we correctly rightly divide the word of Truth. Who Whom What When Why. The word of God is the most POWERFUL Book ever written when read correctly, if not then it can become nothing more than a book to say whatever men desires it to say, losing ALL its POWER.
