See what some Christians don't get, is "a bit of leaven leaveneth the whole lump" So when it comes to rapping with secular artists, and even pandering to them, not only is he mixing the sacred with the profane--he is opening the door for them to do the same. They get a pass from Crae, and the WHOLE LUMP of secular artists begin to think they have a pass too! They start making these LUKEWARM songs about God, and distort the message of God through Yehoshua/Jesus. When you know that; you can't give Lecrae a pass.

Pray for him brother because he surely has a large target on his back from Satan. All I will say is, listen to his old albums and then listen to the new. The greater the ministry the greater the attacks. I can't definitively say if I was on the platform he is that I would always say the right things so we can't really judge unless we've been there. Extend some grace and lets hope for the Holy Spirit's conviction in his life.

I agree, I listened to his older music a lot when I first got saved. But I just don't "feel it" like I use to. Maybe it's my musical taste, maybe it's the music. But it seemed to me that his ministry was greater in the past. More of the songs now are generic and could be viewed as social issue songs more so than scriptural. But I'm sure it's hard in his position. I definitely don't overlook that part. But it's up to him to go after the fame and success or just to accept the blessings he is given and continue to give credit to the Lord.
