Hello Thank you for joining me today. I’m going to do a short review on my Lectric XP trike. This is a fine machine I hope I do it justice. Unfortunately I have not had that much time to ride it in the last month because we’ve had rain every day except for two lol I feel like I live in a tropical paradise #LectricTrike #LectricXPTrike #EBike

Thanks for the great walk-thru on the trike. I ordered the same one, but I had it delivered to my niece's since I am moving to that area in another month or so. So I haven't unboxed it or ridden it. I am looking forward to it. I'll look forward to more of your videos.

2 things I have had to get use to going to a trike from a bike. 1. Take turning left right on the road slower. 2. When riding along an incline (not up or down), the trike will start to drift down wards, so you have to angle at an upward direction to go straight. (Some of the roads I ride on are bowed in the middle to direct water into the sewer/gutter. I find the trike ends up drifting down into the gutter unless I angle up out of it.)

I purchased one of these Trikes for myself & love it, and I know I will love it even more once it receive my new throttle, since mine doesn’t work. I also added signal lights on mine and I wish the Lectric e-Bikes would of had them, but I’m sure in time they’ll have them. I can’t wait till the ship out there mirrors 😊 I’m thinking I would like to put some colored Spiral Cable Wrap on mine instead of the black that they have, but I’ll ask you my dear, if you would know the size that they use?

Just got mine. Having a little trouble adjusting to a trike. I feel like I can't trust it to balance and I want to put my foot on the ground (like on a bike). When I first start out, trike tends to the right. So far, I am just practicing in the underground parking area of the condo. Will take some getting used to. Thanks for the video.

It does take a little getting used to! I had to get used to leaning in different directions. It took a few rides But I am comfortable riding it now. Thank you for watching.

When I first rode mine I went in a circle. Once I forced turning the handle bars against my instincts I rapidly corrected.

Hi, Grandpa. Enjoyed your video. Did your trike suffer any shipping damage or have anything that did not work properly? I'm thinking of getting one but have seen a lot stories of issues with them. Thanks.

Unfortunately, the shipping company that they go through sucks. I watched the delivery guy, dump it on the ground from the back of the truck upside down. The rear wheel was bent and the front Rotor. I called Lectric trikes and they promply sent me new ones. which both were easy to change

I wonder how it does on a gravel road? can one get a suspension with shock's? How tall are you Grandpa? Just wanted to know because I weight 255 now?

Thank you for watching! I don’t see a problem with a gravel road. But it does not come with suspension myself. I am 5 foot 11 and about 240 pounds so you should be all set.

The wheels on this trike are 2.5" thick, not 4" wide. For riding on sand, 4" tires are recommended.

I just purchased one of these trikes… still figuring out a few things… example: how to turn on light? (In front) or does it come on automatically?

Hold Down the + button To turn on and off the light. Go to their website and download the owners manual. It will take you through everything.

How do you start it?

After you have charge the battery, there is a button at the top of it that you have to push each time. Then the power button on the handlebars on the left-hand side. Then you’re Plus and minus signs will take you through your pedal assist. I would recommend starting out in one until you get used to it. If I can help you with anything else please ask.

Seat keeps sliding down.

Mine also had that problem. The clamp that is supposed to hold the seat at the height setting you want is too loose. I found that when you open this clamp you can rotate a do-ma-jiggy to tighten the clamp using just my fingers and then when I closed the clamp, it tightened up enough to hold the seat. I noticed and corrected the problem as I was unboxing my trike, so I didn't pay much attention to what that do-ma-jiggy actually was, but you should be able to figure it out.
