@ 11:34 Linear susceptibility = (permittivity / vacuum-permittivity) - 1; the ratio of permittivities is dimensionless and thus linear susceptibility is dimensionless. @ 25:21 But what about the law of conservation of energy? Isn't the energy-output bigger than the energy-input here???

How can the dipoles both vibrate with w and 2w? Or is it some dipoles vibrate with w and some vibrate with 2w?
