On a trip to Egypt, I was amazed how the temples there were reminiscent of depictions of the Temple in Jerusalem. This is all proof that a people moved to the Levant from Egypt and brought some of that superior technology with them. Now if academics could agree if it was during Rameses, Thutmose, or one of two or three other candidates that float around. This would even explain the differences between the Egypt they left and the Israel they founded: 7-day week, strictures against cutting hair, etc. But what explains most religions getting the Pharoah of Exodus wrong?And what else might be wrong?

Priesthood would have been a high station within Egyptian society. Slavery would surely be the lowest. How could any Hebrews, Levite or otherwise, be at the same time both slaves and priests? (I am only at 17:34 in the video, and will finish it later; but this is the question in my mind at this point.)

It wasn't just the descendants of Israel who left Egypt - the text says that the group leaving Egypt included a "mixed multitude" (Exodus 12:38). There could easily have been priests from outside the properly Israelite clans who decided to throw their lot in with Moses.

The tribe of levi were preists and therefore did not do manual work which was originally normal and only became harsh and unreasonable after Joseph's time.

You hold a slaves for 400 and they still manage to keep their religion? That's some BS. The Torah is entirely Egyptian. Moses was most likely an Egyptian/Jewish priest. There was several exodes out of Egypt and the Jewish exodus is just one of them.

.... but they didn't keep their religion. Some did, but not as a whole. Or did you forget the second they were out of Egypt they wanted a golden calf?

🤔Egyptian City of Tura is pronounced Torah, Papyrus is Paper, Amun is Amen, Vizer is Super-Visor, RA (sun god) is RAY (of sun), Kemet is Chem-istry, etc etc. Hebrews even learned Circumcision from Egyptians.

Circumcision marked God's covenant with Abraham shortly before Isaac was born. Instructions were given in Canaan way before Israel was a nation in Egypt. See Gen. 17: 1-14 for more details.

@@redsands2064 ⏳You have a problem with chronology. Genesis Ch12 says Abraham entered Egypt, a Nation that already practiced Circumcision BEFORE he got there. AFTER Abraham left Egypt, years later, in Genesis Ch17, God then tells him to START the practice of Circumcision. Clearly the Hebrew Culture was influenced by Egypt.

@@redsands2064 The Hebrew ethnicity came around at least 2-3000 years after Egypt...Egyptians were circumcising their male infants before Abraham was even called a "Hebrew", actually before his birth. You can look this up yourself, Egyptian texts are written in stone which is older Moses's Torah. All Historical facts.

@@GloBoyLoLo The fact remains, regardless.. Israel is God's chosen. Circumcision at best, has hazy beginnings with regards to Egypt (what with reports saying "believed to have originated"... or "research SUGGESTS... or "supported by archeological evidence in the form of an image...") That doesn't really sell it does it? Its just ambiguous at best. The Holy Bible however, clearly states it. So there you have it. Thanks.

@@redsands2064 I have nothing against your religous views my brother. But the psychotic stuff has to come to an end. If your Bible says a people started something, but then there's Evidence that a people were doing this thing that supposedly started with the Hebrews, how can you honestly deny that ? Evidence literally means PROOF. How can you deny proof that GOD ALLOEWED to still be seen today that is older than the Bible itself, & the Hebrews? & also I believe that we are all God's chosen people. Not only Israelites because I look at him as a Father/Mother/Parent. No way he would show favortism to 1 people over another.

Rather the Torah influence on Egyptian religion.
@GloBoyLoLo
@GloBoyLoLo 2 жыл бұрын
If you know anything about history you know that Egyptian Religion was around 3,000 years before the Torah....Pharoah Akhenaten claimed 1 God before Moses did. & it's proven because the Egyptians hated him for it. This was at the least, a Century before Moses's birth. Historical facts.

@@GloBoyLoLo True and that comment of mine actually made the opposite of what i intended, it's rather the Egyptian influence on Torah. Like Circumcision, which was an egyptian hygiene practice or the 10 commandments which is negative confessions or monotheism, which is Atenism or even the Messiah which is the Atenic concept of deliverer. Rememner, that none of these existed in from where Abraham came but they dis exist in the region where followers of Akhnetan fled. Reading even the overview of Merneptah steele by Joseph Davidovits will make it clear what i am talking about.
