Sri Ramanuja lived for 120 years. He was saved by the lord of Kanchipuram Sri Varadaraja and his consort Mahadevi(laxmi) while returning alone from north. He composed 9 granthas. He laid the rules of worship in Srirangam the abode of Sri Ranganatha.Sri Ranganatha was the family deity of ishvaku clan.Lord Rama worshipped him.

With the rising sun the following day, Sri Ramanujar found himself transported several miles away from Puri, to a place near the town of Srikakulam in the present day Andhra Pradesh. Viewed in the perspective of how difficult it would have been for people to travel distances by foot or by cart in those days, the distance to which he had been transported overnight was phenomenal!It is said that Sri Jagannatha out of His kind mercy sent Garuda to transport Sri Ramanujar away from a problematic situation.

As Sri Ramakrishna paramahamsa said even advaita is a path and realization as well. And Paramahamsa did not find conflict between dvaita and advaita as he experienced Nirvikalpa Samadhi. I loved your lecture as I believe in Krishna the supreme Lord but same time criticism of Advaita by Shankara Bhagavadpada I don't like Prabhuji.. Adi Shankaracharya had written BHAJAGOVINDAM, JAGANNATH ASTAKAM, Meaning of Vishnu Sahasranam. Adi Sankaracharaya had reinstated Lord JAGANNATH in Puri after 140 years of getting under grounded. The same Sri JAGANNATH ASTAKAM used to be sing by Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu every day in front of Lord JAGANNATH in Puri temple. It is believed that Sri Adi Sankaracharaya was incarnation of Lord Shiva and Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu was incarnation of lord Krishna. Pls answer how can be he shameless.

It would be against our principles if the mortal body regained consciousness. Maybe he was in coma and everyone percieved that he was dead. With all my humility.

Prabhu, As a shree Vaishnava I want to add that Ramanuja had a firm faith in Shreeman Narayana. He didn't purposed new theory like Vishnu came from Krishna or Goloka is only ultimate dham more blissful than Vaikuntha and also the oldest vaishnava root is only Shree Sampradaya not Rudra Sampradaya. Swayam Shreeman Narayana have taught Shree Laxmi the eternal rahasyas and from it Ramanuja again introduced the same. Ramanuja treated Krishna equally to Shreeman Narayana. And every avatar and expansion according to him are the absolute and not less than eachother. One bitter truth about ISKCON is they demonize shree hari to prove the supremacy of Lord Krishna but actually Krishna is himself Shreeman Narayana descended on earth and dwelled in braj dham. I hope people to not differentiate the Veda Purusha Shreeman Narayana from his own another latest roop as Shree Krishna.

I had seen a film on Ramanujan in Doordarsan(telugu) where in it was shown that he had been suffering with some cancerous wound on his back, and that before getting down to do "sandhya"he used to remove the wound by his "Dandam"(long stick) and after completing the Sandhya, he used to put back the wound by his "dandam",and move along! It was shown that he suffered the pain as he has to suffer according to his "KARMA"! I want to know how far this is true! As I see you had done sufficient research on his life I thought you are the proper person to clarify! Thank you!

As per ISKON If Krisna or Vasudeva or Narayan resides everywhere in each Suksma tatwa ie in Spirit in atom, in molecule ,in every universe, in every dimensions. Then Advaitavad become true because Radha- Krishna/ Mahalaxmi- Narayan is in everyone's soul. In bhagwat geeta Supreme Lord Krishna also said I remember my all birth but o dear Arjun you can't. It's because I am fully enlightened I am fully conscious but O Arjun you are not enlightened.. So Sanatan Satya remains hidden for Arjun. But if Arjun get enlightened if he come to know that ultimate tatwa then Arjun become Parmatma like Shree Krishna.

Even the Krishna in Bhagawat geetha said that, I'm the one in every being and I'm the creator and I'm the creation, I'm in everything & I'm everything. How can he become Narasimha avatar inside the pillar? . Isn't it Advaitha? We all are the reflections of the supreme light inside a pot( bodies) with our karmic tendencies. So, we can't realise the our own self. If we clean the tendencies and become pure then we will become one of the infinite. Amarendra jii I have a huge respect and I'm very small to say this to you but, I feel it's a big mistake u did talking a bit in a criticising abt Shakaracharya & Advaitha. I never saw any other gurus talking like this abt shankaracgarya.

This video was supposed to sing about the glories of Shri Ramanujacharya. Was it supposed to end with 'kicked out of Puri' story? Many even doubt the authenticity of such an incident happening in the life of Shri Ramanujacharya. I rarely hear any good words about other Acharyas and Sampradays from the mouth of ISKCON followers. Such is your reputation. It is sad that you people speak ill about great Acharyas and their Sampraday.

I have been to Puri Jagannath temple but we find Ramanuja mutts in the Lord's seva. ISKCON is not even considered a rightful sampradaya by them . The order of changing Vishnu temple vidhanas everywhere was from Ranganatha Himself , so he won't beat up Ramanuja as Jagannatha . In fact it was your Gaudiya Pundrika Vidyanidhi who was beaten right ,left and centre by both the brothers Balabhadra and Jagannath . The temple of Jagannth proudly adorns the Ramanuja urdhvapundra so does the Lakshmi shrine there ? What nonsense were you guys preaching here ?
