Hi, found this vid late, so could only watch the beginning. A really nice surprise. WOC here intersted in historical fiber arts (types of clothing, weaving, knitting, dyeing; generally particulary needlework accessories, shawls, hosiery, etc). Thought I was the only one. Love the research aspect, and really "like" the American colonial period; particularly that relatively short period, early 1700's(?) when black people could contract be indentured servants, and have a set term of servitude. I'm sure it wasn't great, but it was a limited time. If I remember right, after the term of indenture, the person was paid land and some money. Will listen to the rest of this tomorrow. Looking for ways to pursue this interest. Thanks so much.
