Awesome! I was surprised so many videos do it the hard way. I will also be making a dedicated video soon showing specifically how to change the bulb, and what to do if the bulb is still not working. Sometimes it can be the fuse, or incorrect connection.

@@Striker50_ I wish I had seen it sooner. I was trying to come at them from the engine bay. I got the driver side because I already had my battery out to do some other stuff. The passenger side I could not get, which lead me to your video! 🤘🏼🤘🏼

@@KodyAgue Oof that must of been tough... Yeah I binge watch every video I can find before I make my videos. I want to make the job as easy and detailed as possible. TOO many times other channels make it look too easy and skip steps and next thing we know we're out there sitting for 3 hours trying to find a video to get us out of the mess LOL

@@Striker50_ haha me, me, me. To add insult to injury, I was using my phone as a light. Got bumped and it slipped into the engine bay. I was starting to remove the front bumper and as soon as I detached the bumper from the other panel I saw my phone. This was after an hour of me and my wife trying to reach into the space in the engine bay.. haha the more you know!!! Thanks again!

@@Striker50_ it certainly was! I was struggling for a bit until I saw this video. The turn signal bulb (1157 for Sedan model) can be replaced using this method as well!

The strip only works meanwhile the headlights are turned on, because these bulbs are connected to the Parking lights. That means in the daytime your tail lights will be on and your dashboard lights may dim. The t10 typical bulbs are hit or miss. I usually reach. just buying a quality brand. These for example have lasted me like 2-3 years up to date.

I ordered it a while ago on eBay! I had to hand-sew it on myself though, it took like 6 hours ☠️

It's ok, it just wasn't bright enough at night to see

@@Striker50_ The streets in your neighborhood must be super dark. Your bright lights will help see what’s in front of you. You made the right choice with LED lights. I’m doing the same thing on my car bro.

@@alexthagreat3178 Your DRLs are the high beams they run at 40% brightness in the day The strips come on when you turn on your parking lights or low beams There are a lot of incorrect videos saying the strips are DRLs when they're not, only the v6s have the led strip as the DRL

You came to the right spot for the strips. For the woofer I'm not an expert in electrical but I'd assume it pulls current from everything. Are the strips flickering when driving or when? You'll have the most common being the aftermarket LED T10 bulb that's giving out which is why it's flickering. If you change the bulb and it's still happening, then it can be the fuse. I originally thought it was the socket about 5 years ago and put aluminum foil (I don't know why) and shorted it so the fuse blew. But ultimately I think it's the bulb starting to go out. The ones I used are Cree LED T10 bulbs in specific

@Striker50_ Thanks. just ordered new bulbs so we'll see what happens but I'm petty sure it flickers all the time. when I first start and when I come back from a drive it's still flickering so

@@8000b Good chance it's the bulb. I've replaced it twice because of that. It usually gives out within a year or 2 because aftermarket is hit or miss since they're made in China

Lol they're the JDM ASTAR brand bulbs or the HOCOLO brand on the link, there are 2 options. I had the link originally but sometimes the sellers discontinue so the link won't work which is why I have them on the storefront The bulbs are T10 CREE LEDs style
