@@gillanidata After your video I build it my self and ran into a few problems, thats why I'm giving so much feedback. One of the problems was exactly the duty cycle and adding the 10nf capacitor solved the problem.

The problem is not the lack of capacitor at pin 5. The problem is that leds arent current limited because a limiting resistor is missing. Because of that, voltage at the output fall down from 9V to 6V or 4V depending on what color is lighting. And because the 555s are connected in an unconventional manner, the duty cycle depends on the output voltage. Furthermore if there isn't enought output voltage, the 555s might stay steady. The capacitor at pin 5 helps to prevent unwanted transients when the power supply is loosy, but for low frequency circuits it isn't mandatory. By the way, leds are being killed by overcurrent and connecting leds in parallel is a very Bad idea typical of an unexperienced apprentice. You would remove the middle nodes at the leds, add 2 series resistors, and the whole circuit will run much safer and longer.

@@mariobv947 well not quite, if you'll check this circuit is not influenced by voltage, it is typical circuit exactly for that issue. Also about the alternating voltage you are not right, I checked on oscilloscope and there is no such problem. The only way to obtain 50% duty cycle was the adding of the capacitor, belive I tried everything. About the over current I can say it ran all night whithout heating .

Same mine alternates but that's all. I used 4 chip cobs maybe that's why...

thanx alot dear you can use transistors with point no 3 of both ic connect 1k resisotor with point 3 of ic and then connect with it with the base of npn transistor emitter poin to tranissotr should be connect with negative power and collector pooint of tranisots sould connect LEDS tinyurl.com/y4vuyusd

It will run on 2s , it you want 3s you need 3 leds in series not 2 as shown in video.

Use 100mf capacitor.connect it parallel on supply.also use 270 ohm resistor on one pole of led connection.i tried and it works

U cant check ur battery perfectly through amp meter Any how when battery takes more amp its mean baterry is empty Amp drops down gradually as battery charge And when battery become full it takes zero amp

I charge my battery tunning into no. 2 and amp goes up to 2 above yes amp drop down to under 1 between 0 when I charge for hour but when I turn up tuner into. No.3 amp will go up 3 above again why is that I guess batery no need to charge again even if amp goes up when I just change tuning please reply ...
