Here is all the relevant professionally filmed footage publicly available of Led Zeppelin's appearance at the 1970 Bath Festival, including shots of the band backstage, a roadie setting their speakers up, and around 10 minutes of the show itself shot by Peter Whitehead and Ernie Vincze.
As many of you know I tried uploading this years ago but it was immediately taken down. Hopefully enough time has passed, plus Kino Library themselves may not own the footage anymore as the clips were removed from their KZfaq channel.

I was there, the weather was crap, (Jimmy in his overcoat & hat says it all) but the bands were great. We took no tents, just some plastic sheeting to cover us when it rained. Ive still got the programme and half of the ticket. Rock history, thanks for posting.

exactly why it's a dream... I could say the same for ANY Zeppelin show--wish it was pro shot pro sound/dolby/ pro backstage interviews/ hi-jinx in back of Limo heading back to hotel/ pro shot inside the Led Zep plane/Caesar's Chariot. YES, we all can dream.

How much energy does Jimmy have(left) to really put together something new and different. According to Jimmy, it was hell to piece together the RAH show and he had to hire lawyers and God Forbid, SPEND MONEY to reproduce his own material. PEACE.

I've collected Zeppelin footage for years.....THIS REALLY IS "SOMETHING ELSE" they sure are pure and fresh ...didn't they turn down a big gig in the U.S that was going to be broadcast via a satellite link ? but they flew back to do Bath,great shots of the crowd here.Its beautiful.Its Bath '70 .

Plant really knew how to work it!! From head to toe. Those heels he had on were very cool. My folks wouldn't let me go to concerts. By the time I could, Led Zeppelin tossed around the idea of a reunion but agonizingly, they never did. No one was sorrier than me.

That drum set was on display at the Rhythm Discovery Center in Indianapolis. I met his tech, Jeff Ocheltree, while he was setting it up. It's still in his possession. He rewrapped the 18" floortom because of the burn marks when John would put his cigarettes out on it. He said he regrets doing that because it was a piece of history. It also had the infamous squeaky kick drum pedal that was heard on "Since I've Been Loving You" original recording. Jimmy said "...that fucking squeaky pedal!" Somewhere I have 100s of detailed photos I took of it - after I was allowed to play it (I have photos of that too!)

Sadly Jeff Ocheltree is a bit of a fraud and it isn’t clear on if the kit he owns is actually Bonham’s or not. Jason Bonham said Ocheltree never worked with his father and photos (and interviews) would confirm Mick Hinton as his tech in the latter days. At least one of his green sparkle kits resides at Old Hyde.

The early Glastonbury, 3 years before I was born. Was there when they returned in 95, literally had to fight my through to the front. It was shoulder to shoulder strong no space 50 people back. Had a mission to be on the first line had to settle for about 8th or 7th. It was great Michael Eavis came out did this whole presentation thing. I coulda strolled through that crowd to the front.

This particular concert is notorious for having some of the worst sounding recording in their history. Crazy when this turned out to be some of clearest, up close, and most intimate video recorded of the band.
