You were asking about what was that sound that flew by in the background. That was the guitarist creating all those crazy sounds. Note: This song is the only song that Led Zeppelin ever released as a single. That is why the song is so famous. Led Zeppelin has never been played on pop radio like top 40 stations in The United States for exception of this song. They used to play it at night to prevent parents from complaining about the sex on the song.

At the mega high school parties I threw in my parents house (when they were out on their weekend yachting trips in during the 70's), the two (2) Led Zep songs that the ladies always really "crooned" to was "The Crunge" and "Dyer Maker" from their 1973 Houses of the Holy Album. Nice! That strange orgasmic interlude in the middle sets up one of the all-time greatest guitar solos in rock-n-roll history. Wooo is right! If you want to keep diving into Led Zeppelin's extensive catalog, consider this. Since you've already listened to songs from each of their first three albums, maybe check out something from their fourth album, like "Black Dog" or "Rock and Roll" or "When the Levee Breaks" or "Stairway to Heaven" or perhaps "Misty Mountain Hop" -- a groovy little hippie song which other reactors tend to ignore. Funny you should say that about Kool-Aid. Back in the 80s I was getting a friend into Zeppelin so I gave him a few songs to listen to and he came back to school the next day and said I love that song Kool-Aid, we must have argued for 10 minutes about whether or not Zeppelin has a song called Kool-Aid and I kept telling him i know Zep very well and there is no such song as Kool-Aid. He just kept singing in a real weird way you need Kool-Aid you need Kool-Aid, I'm going to send you back to school aid. I finally figured out he was talkin about Whole Lotta Love so I had to set him straight on the lyrics and requested he never sing again and leave that to Plant, lol

This is from their second album 'Led Zeppelin II' which was essentially recorded on the road while they were still touring in support of their first album. No one (including the band) expected for things to take off as fast as they did in the beginning so Jimmy Page (the guitarist) had to record the band whenever and wherever he could keeping the master recordings very close to him so they wouldn't be lost. Knowing how piece-meal this album made makes the final results of the whole thing even more awesome and remarkable as it's ALL killer and NO filler!!!

Scribecash, the consummate Led Zeppelin song is "Rock and Roll" (studio version) and here's why >>> It showcases each members' instrumental talents in the baddestass rock 'n roll way (and in damn near equal measure). Robert Plant (vocally), Jimmy Page (guitar), John Bonham (drums), and John Paul Jones (bass and keyboard). It all comes together in Zep's "Rock and Roll"! Now, if you wanna hear some funky rockin' Texas blues, then ZZ Top's "Waitin' for the Bus/Jesus Just Left Chicago". I dare somebody to argue with that!!... ; )
