LEDs all around the Crown Vic

3 жыл бұрынThis started because 1 measly light went out ((it wasn't even blown)) and I didn't want to give cops any reason to pull me over.
It then turned into me getting that light, the others to match it, brake lights, reverse lights, an interior light and headlights too - all LEDs to replace the original lights on the Crown Vic.
It's a good thing that LEDs are that expensive anymore!

Your lights appear to be pulsating. You should check out your headlight switch, which I am told by my Ford Mechanic is a problem area whereas the switch can overheat and catch fire. I have a 1991 Crown Victoria wagon and had that pulsating light problem which went away after the switch was replaced. It is common to 1990 and 1991 models so I am told. Thanks for the video.

Changed the alternator to a 3G in a later video on the channel - no more pulsating. Keep watching and you'll see a few more upgrades on it. Wagons are cool! Seen a few LTD wagons used as race cars.

Yeah, you should. It's not expensive and doesn't really take that long either. And now I can really see down the road...plus I like the 4 eye look.

Good to see somebody with a LTD, it's hard to find ltd videos, I just got one, I got a question, how did you get your front wheel on the big ass rotor in the middle

Changed all my lights just like in your LTD but now the turn signals or hazards won't blink. They just stay on.. did yours do the same? Thanks

How did u run the high beams to the low beams again

Get lights that are both high and low beam....then run both high beams to the high beam input. Then do the same for the low beams...

@@dmark4203 That'll be cool man. 4 solid quality 12s would bang HARD in that trunk. I used to do 4 -12" subs on about 2-3k watts in those trunks all the time. Regarding the rims... 28s look much bigger for sure but 6s are a lot easier to manage regarding the lift and turning.. just something to think about.

@@dmark4203 you can...depending on how high you make it sit and how much work or $ you want to put into it. But that's what I was saying. 6s go on easy... 8s take a little bit And go 4 12s. If you going 3 you might as well go with 4
