My grandparents were best friends until the end, married at 19 and 20 then married just under 60 years when my grandma passed away. They were some of our biggest supporters when I married my husband when I was 19 and he was 21. This year is our tenth anniversary and we have 4 kids now. He's my best friend and I hope this is just our first of many decades.

I started college in my 40's. He was a proud Chicago firefighter. We were blessed with 7 grandchildren. He passed away just over a year ago from cancer. I am so lucky to have met him at 15.
