LCW lost in Olympic and World Championship is mainly because the Malaysia government always promised huge rewards for those who win! Whoever win in Olympic will get RM 1 million rewards! This make the players very pressured and lost their concentration especially when they entered final in major tournaments! Beside that, if in their previous life they don’t cultivate any merits to the whole country, they hardly can gain the rewards as all the moneys are come from Malaysia taxpayers’ monies! So the rewards are actually an obstacle for LCW and other badminton players to win major tournaments! This is the reason why in 2016, LCW, Chan Peng Soon & Goh Liu Ying, Tan Wee Kiong & Goh Wei Seem all entered final and lost! LCW entered 3 times Olympic also lost, Cheah Soon Keat and Soh Beng Kiong entered final Olympic lost to Rexy and Ricky!

Lin Dan won 21-18 and 21-9 in 2008 China Open Men Single Final; however at 8:13 of this video it says "LCW" won -- The counter is correct (LD + 1) but the winner's name is wrong.
