I believe most of the people don’t know well about Sibu. How many of us know that Sibu has the longest river in Malaysia called Rajang River 😱😱 The largest Starbucks outlet in Malaysia 😱😱 The largest indoor market in Southeast Asia 😱😱 The symbol for Sibu Town is the Swam 💗💗 My parents intentions was to make a trip to Kapit from Sibu by ferry⛴️. To revived their memory of their first visit to Kapit in 1991 that was 32 years ago but they been told that no ferry ⛴️ service since COVID, so they ask my parents to take bus 🚎
As they walk back, they took the opportunity to explore the town, which my mother first visit 32 years ago unlike my father, because of his Junior Chamber International (JCI) activities, he would on and off visited Sibu.
Most, if not all of my parents own travel is care free and there is no time constraint. And so when they saw some delicious 🤤 street food, they will buy it to try ☺️☺️ Of course, they also went to The largest indoor market in South East Asia. There are various types of stalls 🤩🤩 Besides that, my parents went to Sibu Waterfront to take a photo for their memory 😉😉 When the night falls, my mother started her old habits, the shopping 🛍️ in the night market. Well, this night market had a lot of variety of local street foods.
Seeing the way my parent travel. I feel they are so blessed, with their age catching up they still had the energy to walk and travel around the world 🌍 WoW! what a blessing 😎😎
