when suga advice heeseung about the mindset of a leader he has, i am shouting 'YEAH SUGA SAY THAT TO HIM ON BEHALF OF PEOPLE WHO FEEL FRUSTRATED BECAUSE HE IS TOO SELFLESS!'. he is such an angel.

Their fault is that they didn't talk with him, instead they talk behind his back which made this a bigger issue. I really cried a lot when i saw heeseung on episode 2,he was the Leader and the Center, but other trainees talk behind his back, imagine he gave up his own practice time to teach every one of them, and they just did this to him. They only care and see themselves but they didn't care what heeseung will feel, i know it's in the past, but i hope they will learn from this matter. That's why, when ENHYPEN'S leader is decided i'm really glad that it's not heeseung, what i mean is, it might be hard for him because he is the eldest if he has a problem he can't talk with an older member that has many experiences in life. He did so much sacrifices during I-Land. He gave Ni-ki the center position, he gave jungwon his part so that Jungwon can really shine on stage, he helped and guide taki when he is having a hard time being a leader, he he gave up his practice time and teach each one of them. Last but not the least he cares about others first than himself, he is the most selfless IDOL i've ever seen. Edit: No hate in any of the members and all participants, its all in the past and i know they are more matured now. Let's support them on their journey as idols and trainees.

My heart breaks every time I see clips of ep. 2 in I-LAND, some trainees just did Heeseung dirty there when he was just trying to help them. No one deserves that kind of treatment and I salute Heeseung for not keeping any bad feelings for the others since he got along so well with them

Heeseung's team almost always win in I-land. From what i saw, he was a great leader. He would selflessly teach his members both choreography and what to emphasize in the songs. If you noticed, most of those who believed in him and followed him debuted with him and those that questioned him and his leadership failed.

His dream of becoming a singer since he was 6 is finally coming true☹️ He's truly special to the point idk how to explain anymore ☹️ he's just so amazing. A young boy who had no confidence singing in front of others, a boy who didn't even know the basic moves for dancing, a boy who messed up his audition in arts school becos of his nervousness,a boy whom his co TRAINEES made fun of and asked him why he is casted by BH, a boy who saw his friends who once trained with him debuting,a boy who never gave up, a boy who never hold grudges,a boy who remain humble despite being the ace that he is, a boy who is full of passion for music☹️ He deserves everything but the question is do we deserve him??? My dream is to write a book about him when I grew up😁

I feel like as I-LAND progressed, Heeseung showed how you can be a respected hyung to most of the participants but still be a comfortable person to seek out, confide in, and trust. The number of times we see him defer to people who are younger than him and ask for their input, trust their decisions, and follow their lead…He stepped back and let Taki try his hand at leadership, and when Taki started to spiral, he stepped back in and in a very kind, gentle way, asked to become the leader and take that pressure off of Taki. He trusted Jungwon with the decision to switch parts. Yes, he was selfless to a fault in I-LAND, but look how comfortable and trusting so many of the I-LANDers became with him. Yes, at the very beginning, there was friction, but it’s so clear how many participants came to admire him for more than just his idol skills.

Remember those who talked behind Heeseung's back are the ones who did not make it on the final debubt team. This episode (Ep 2) made me sad for Heeseung but this is also the same episode that made me like him. Always thinking about the others before himself.

Lee Heeseung's journey was, according to me, the toughest emotionally. And in the end, he's the one I'm proudest of. Love you Heeseung hyung, wish you and Enhypen the very best future as idols ❤

In ep 2 they were throwing him out of leadership and center position because they didn't like how Heeseung was leading the team, but he's been training for a long time so he knows the level of criticism that the trainers and producers give, and that's why he was leading them that way. After they got their very negative feedback during evaluation, they ended up asking him to become center again.

I always feel like he is not as appreciated as he should be ..... He is such a kind person .... He helped everyone in the competition though he was an opponent .... I love him so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️😭

heeseung is very skilled and talented, that much was evident during the first ep of i-land.. but what really stood out for me was his character. he is so gentle, so kind, well spoken, and very humble. he never bragged about his skills to get a position, he always let the others decide first, the one time he did was during flicker where he was the leader cos of the #1 benefit but when k wanted the same position, he said it was fine for him without drama. he even gave up his leading plans to avoid conflicts with k. he also let sunghoon sleep on his #1 bed even though it's the most comfortable one. when jungwon was pressured by the others to give up the center position, heeseung never said anything that would make jungwon feel small. he respected taki's leader position and believed in him, he only stepped up when it was obvious that taki really couldn't handle it. he is just one of a kind. the way he cried hard every time there were people who have to leave too ;---;

among all the Enhypen members, whenever Heeseung cries, i feel so bad and i almost tear up. Seeing him cry is the most heartbreaking thing for me.😓😫

Now I understand why heeseung considered as the ace of enhypen because he doesn't only have the superb talents and the looks but have a very kind heart as well. No wonder he got so many fans around the world.

The most painful part in heeseung's journey in i-land was that he was attacked behind his back without doing anything bad for others, instead he did his best to suppose give a best performance for their team's benefit and he gave his personal time to teach each and every participant to improve their skills

I've said this so many times to my friends that watched Iland; in ep. 2 when the Ilanders put Heeseung at part 10 instead of center because he wasn't leading well, they all have the wrong concept of a center. The center is usually the most well-rounded person who can be the focus of the stage and is a good mix of all the members, NOT the person that is leading choreography. If the Ilanders understood this, they would've kept Heeseung in part 1 as center and just have niki teach the choreography because niki is a better dancer and should be the dance leader. Center doesn't equal leader.

Heeseung deserves the world , I relate so so much to him . Hes such a hard worker I hope he never changes his attitude towards working hard and hope that even when hes tired he'll find a way to shine as bright as he always does. I also hope he doesn't feel too pressured to be perfect or the perfect ace all the time, he doesn't even need to try hes already above and beyond.

Heeseung from day one was expected to perform at a high level. Just to try and imagine the amount of pressure that would cause is crazy. I remember in the beginning Band PD said that the team of judges and coaches should look not just at their abilities but also at their potential. For Heeseung I think there was less leeway given. And not just from the adults point of view but also amongst the i-landers. Everyone knew him to be the ACE so every time he practiced or performed he was expected to be beyond exceptional. Not that he wasn't but he's human, not everyday would be perfect. When I watched the show for the first time, I heard Heeseung say continuously if he doesn't debut now then he'll never debut. (Many other i-landers said that too but anyway) At the time, I thought it such a weird statement. Now, I realize that from Heeseung's perspective that at the time (this is just an assumption) he may have felt he was giving everything he had to debut and everyone around him has this vision of who he is so surely he has to debut now. Because if everyone has this expectation and he believed he was giving his all then if he didn't debut then he would never be able to give enough to debut. But I digress. Heeseung is such an amazing talent and soul! So much love to him and the rest of Enhyphen. Well done, gentlemen!

His dance movement has the unique sense that other people can't do the same way and of course his vocal. sunghoon was my pick during i-land, mainly because he’s the first person that I saw on television and he made me watch the survival show... but heeseung has this mysterious aura in him idk. Hee’s my bias now ever since their debut and he’s still mysterious for me. It always surprised me how humble Heeseung was. Even though Heeseung's reason for not being the centre in episode 2 was that he felt like he shouldn't be the centre, it was actually a great move since he showed that no matter what part he gets, he shines. However, Heeseung was always so hard on himself when it came to leading. When things came crashing down whilst he was in some form of leadership, he always pinned the blame on himself and I honestly think that the other members around him didn't help at all when Heeseung came to that conclusion. I wonder if because of his experience in I-Land, he felt like he wouldn't be able to lead as well in Enhypen either. He may have already said why he didn't want to become the leader in Enhypen&hi but I think that there was something deeper that made him shy away from leadership.

Heeseung really inspires me so much. He's so selfless, hard working, caring and talented.. Seriously he deserves the position he's in right now. Heeseung takes care of every member so well and helps out so much, he sacrificed many things and was patient when it came to his time to shine and debut despite it taking a while. When I first got into ENHYPEN I wondered why so many were drawn to Heeseung and now, having him as a bias and a role model I can definitely see why, he deserves the world. I hope ENHYPEN grows and becomes as big as BTS is so more can witness and appreciate how hard they work and how much talent each of them holds. And even if not, I'm glad I was apart of this wonderful experience with them as an engene.

One year later ~ I remember worrying for him. He was so intense I felt he might collapse emotionally if he did not make it. Now he is so much lighter and brighter. It is as if he were younger somehow. And now he smiles with his eyes.

idk but i've always felt this...K was stubborn and didn't treat heeseung well. it could be because he was his first dongsaeng or he felt threatened by him since he always looked unsure of hee being the ace. ep 2 was outrageous but i can understand that too. but the flicker scene was just straight up disrespectful and stupid. heeseung was appointed the leader, still K intervened in every matter and unilaterally made decisions. in the full footages u can see even the team members feel the tension and try to help hee but hee doesn't want to go against K. but when the interim check assessment scene came up i was baffled. if K thought that hee was leading it sure didn't look like it. It kind of felt like when the teacher tried to scold them and advice them K just put all the blame on heeseung. And even if K did want hee to lead, he should've respected him and his words as the leader but K nvr did. i am not antogonizing K but his attitude towards hee was not the best in the show. There was also one incident with niki in DNA performance. taking a 14 yo into the washroom( camera blind spot) to scold him about trying to add more flavour to his part was just not it. Plus gaslighting him into thinking that it was selfish of him to do so when i could just feel the desperation of the young boy ,trying to do whatever he can to perform better, fearing elimination. u can really just see how stressed and upset niki was.

I didn’t watch I-Land so I’m just watching the 7 members’ journey one by one. Heesung has been a comfort in human form since day one. He would always yield so others can shine. He’s always kind and gentle. I’m so glad he’s the hyung of the group cause Engenes can rest easy knowing they have such a dependable and loving hyung who would always be there for them. They blame heeseung in ep.2 but when they got high score in Fire cause Heeseung is the center. They always put heeseung in center position just to get high scores and he doesn't have a say about this. When they want to switch the center position again with Ni-ki, he won't do it unless ni-ki told him to. Cause he doesn't want ni-ki to feel what he felt when he had to step back as a center and had to give it to ni-ki. Then in flicker team he open ups about being pick as a center always and he did it as what they said for the team even though he wants other part. He doesn't want to voice out his opinion cause he might be the bad one again just like in ep.2. But he speaks up to K and voice out the concerns of others. That's how Angel Heeseng is 😇😇😇

Enhypen has the perfect people in their group. I'm glad they accepted him, although Ni-ki was a bit rude at the start, because he is actually so sweet and caring. Jungwon and Sunghoon especially was nice to him and helping him out in situations. Such a good group

Bruh I didn't even know Heesung had to deal with shit like this. I only just started watching ENhypen stuff and I haven't even seen any episodes of the I-Land stuff. I think that Enhypen ended up with really good members who balance one another out and I hope they can do well and succeed in the future.

He recently went viral for his 'Off my face' cover..... His talents are being neglected by the company... He's such a gem Thx for this video... Heeseung and I have the same MBTI personality (INFJ), that's why I can understand him. People with this type of personality are really very caring. They sacrifice their own needs or wishes for others. Watching EP 2 made me cry so much, because Heeseung sacrificed his solo practice for others, but they back talked behind him so badly. I have also gone through this kinda situation, so it really hurts a lot. Heeseung really is such a nice human being, I can see myself in him because I am also very careful and considerate of other's opinions, often sacrificing my own problems for helping others. I'm happy he has amazing members who take care of him so much

I cried watching this. I started stanning enhypen in June of this year and i really regret not stanning during I-land. I struggled for 3 months to choose a bias and finally I chose Heeseung. I always knew he was an ace and that he was destined to be in enhypen due to his insane talent. I thought it must have been easy for him because he was so talented, but after watching I-land, i was so wrong. I wasn't even Heeseung biased at the time but I cried watching ep 2 of i-land. So many of them were talking behind his back and it really pissed me off. He didn't deserve to be ridiculed so much, and it broke my heart seeing him cry. I'm not an emotional person, quite the opposite. But seeing Heeseung cry genuinely hit me in the gut. I'm so happy he debuted and i'm also kinda happy he's not the leader being the oldest in enhypen. He worked really hard and it payed off. I love him!
